Reviewed By Raj4mKolI chose this hotel viewing the pictures of the rooms and settled for a Suite with large room size along with complimentary breakfast. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that I had booking for ground floor non-sea view suite and suggested to for a double-bed sea-view room instead. I was sure that there was no option to choose different Suite rooms. I firmly told that there was no such option on the booking website. Then I was told that sea-view Suite on the higher floor was not ready and we need to wait for a while and in the mean time we could check the available sea-view double bed room. We had a visit to the room and immediately rejected the room for small size with small bathroom. We waited for a while instead, had breakfast on the nearby beach and came back to check into the sea-view Suite Room 301 on 2nd floor. The room was big with one adjoining room with dining table and a uncomfortable single bed but no refrigerator. The main room had a double bed, big se-view window and a large balcony. That is all - everything else was very old and un-serviced. The wall hanging AC indoor unit has a separate controller mounted on the wall and you can not change the temperature - it always cools, we needed to switch it off at night before sleep to avoid extreme cold in the night. The wall had damp strains. It was very difficult to find the switch of the tubelight hidden inside the cabinet below the TV. The bathroom of the Suite had a bathtub too, proudly announced by the hotel stuff - I immediately discarded the idea to use it when I saw the bathtub with lots of strains. The door of the bathrrom was damp struck - the handle was broken and kept on the side of the bathtub. The bathroom had inclination problem - I rubbed the floor by feet to remove the water on the floor after bath. The service was very bad. You need to call and follow up several times to get the food delivered at room - they just do not pick up the phone or forget to serve the order. The linens and towels were not cleaned properly and full of strains. The main surprise came on the day we left. While serving the breakfast in our room we were told to pay the bill! I told that we had booking with complimentary breakfast and came to know in reply that the items we ordered were not part of the complimentary package. I argued that we were never told so at the time of checking or during ordering the breakfast and mentioned to settle the matter at the reception desk during checkout. At the reception desk desk we were told that some specific small items could only be taken as part of complimentary breakfast - the items we took had to be paid for. Getting frustrated (as we had to leave our bags before catching the night train), we requested to deduct the amount at the rate of the complimentary items. Finally they opted to deduct Rs. 200 @50/person/day for 2 persons for 2 days! Imagine Rs. 50 for each breakfast for Suite room occupants as part of complimentary breakfast. With these experiences, I would recommend to avoid this hotel if possible. By the way, keep a note that we saw rooms under renovation. After renovation the double-bed rooms may become okay to stay. However I doubt the service and overall quality would improve.

Worst Experience I ever had
Reviewed By Ananya GI has terrible experience here. Rooms are very very small and congested, not properly clean also. When we enter inside the room it was stinking. Quality of the mattress and pillow wasn't up to the mark. In picture they have shown its sea beach is visible from hotel room. But in reality its not at all like that. They don't have proper power back up, TV was not working. In our room one charging point was not working. Overall Experience is pathetic. They are simple charging too much. You will get better hotel in puri in same price.

Reviewed By WakhoworldThe hotel doesn't have twin rooms (2 beds), despite what was indicated on Booking.com. Dispite booking a win room (2 bedsRoom #401 is large with ONE large bed; light and open. Cooled with a wall air conditioner, which has 2 speeds - stop and flat-out, and a ceiling fan. Bathroom in good - no bath. The towels have seen better days. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the beach. The hotel food menu is extensive but no restaurant. So if you order something to eat it is room service only. There are no dining facilities in the room. So if you order something to eat it is room service only. From the railway station, you should pay about Rs100 for a Tuk Tuk. the bed was hard, Despite booking a twin room (2 beds) we got a double room (1 bed). The only twin room available was dark and dingie.

Reviewed By Camper09998551047Nice stay at reba. Loved the room. Staff was courteous. I faced some issue with the room lock, they replaced the lock immediately and assisted us very nicely. The manager was very humble and helped with visiting places nearby by arranging a car. Recommend this place for budget friendly stay at puri.

However, all the hard work of the team has been let down by PATHETIC Buffet Breakfast and very unprofessional staff at the restaurant. The F&B Manager Mr Paresh Mohanty does not know what is going on in his area of operation, busy in his own world. The GM Mr Jogendra Boipoi not bothered to take any action inspite of repeated complains to him wrt the Buffet Breakfast and non availability of snacks at the restaurant. Slept over the issue like Judishtir. Out of our 4 complimentary breakfast, we hardly could have anything on 3 occasions and had at May Fair Waves on 1 occasion. GM refused to compensate even the 1day BF bill at May Fair. The front office though courteous was helpless. High time the owner takes stock of the situation. Good place to stay, but be prepared to Starve!!

Poor booking experience
Reviewed By Nikit TCould not stay here as the booking team never reverted with details after keeping us waiting for 3 days. The person who receives the calls for booking confirmed availability and agreed on tariff but never shared bank details for booking. Every time we called, he assured us that he will be sending an email with details. This went on for 3 days before we decided to not book this place. If booking experience is such, I am not willing to risk it by staying here.
