Lovely beach cottages with excellent staff
Reviewed By kualabear2We stayed here while our children attended the nearby children's nature camp and it was a lovely visit. The hotel is at a beautiful quiet site at the end of a gorgeous beach, very close to the Juara Turtle Project sanctuary. The rooms exceeded our expectations, we had a clean and spacious connecting room, with a beautiful wraparound porch with a view of the ocean. The food was good--the included breakfast was served quickly and was tasty and there was a good range of seafood and vegetable dishes for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is in a nice open-air setting, and sometimes there is live music at night, which was a nice treat. And the wi-fi even worked--a change from our last trip at a different Tioman hotel. The best part of the stay were the staff--who were very kind and friendly--they would go out of their way to find items for guests that they had forgotten to bring and help with requests to make our stay better. We'd happily come back again.

Reviewed By AdrianW2354Really great Host. They helped us in every situation. We had a free shuttle from the ferry to the resort what is really nice and helpful. The rooms had everything that we needed. And early in the morning at 5:30am we got breakfast and a shuttle back to the Gerry. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By MiaMint1981Amazing long beach ~~ We stayed 2N at seaview room , beach was just door step out. Room is basic and clean, mini fridge , TV, kettle , towel etc.. The snorkeling package was very nice. Enjoy the quiet beach and seafood dinner. Nothing much but stunning for me.

The Beach Shack is a small family owned "resort", it's a laid back hippie-style accommodation with a surf atmosphere. It is owned by Tim, an Australian surfer, and his wife Izan. Here you can enjoy the beach, the sun, the palm trees, boat trips, jungle tracking. Or feel free to go fishing ,snorkeling and many others. The Beach Shack is located on Juara Beach. Juara is the nicest part of the island.

A nice cozy place
Reviewed By cheng88Enjoy the 3 days 2 nights stay especially with the warm hospitality of the staff. The lobby will be a good place to relax , with a drink and a book in hand plus the quiet environment. It will be good if can sell some snacks, especially needed after the snorkelling trip.

This place is a gem
Reviewed By FnuberrySmall and on the quiet end of the beach (no cars!). We absolutely loved our stay here. The snorkel trip offered by the Chalet was the best snorkeling I've ever done, which to this days is difficult to believe. They picked us up and dropped us off at the wharf. Coming to Tioman was our favorite part of Malaysia and I think this was one of the best places to stay. English is spoken.

Reviewed By snoopy73Came here with a grp of 10. Friends are mostly divers. Am pleasantly surprised with good service and friendly staff here. Shout out to Ringo who is very attentive, friendly and always attempt to find out if there's anything that he can do ie. Make bookings, if we have any need etc keep up the great job and we will be back for sure. The only set back is there's no WiFi at the room as connection is extremely poor. For this we have to hang out at the lobby to get access to the WiFi

The room is practical, you would have everything you need, comfortably, plus storage compartment areas to keep your room neat and clean. Its a garden in front of the beach, so it is still cool under the sun heat. A lot of trees. Beach front is amazing, facing sunset, and the water is clear, with fish and corals. At the receiption area, food is delicious, wifi is very fast, access to filtered cold/hot water is easy 24x7, a lot of books and board game. 9 pm is the start of the quite hour until the sun rise again, ensure you have enough rest to start then next day very productive exploring what the island offers

Excellent Software but Average Hardware
Reviewed By DolphaniaThe place could do with a touch of extra care. I know it is not easy being a beach stay location, but cleanliness has to be there. Room was ok bathroom was not up to par. Cleanliness has to be there. We had dinner at the restaurant upstairs...I'd have to say with all we ordered...hats off to the chef. It was delicious! Your software...a.k.a staff were awesome. They were polite and helpful and made us feel welcome and at home. Please ensure cleanliness of rooms, bathrooms and proper pathways. I stayed at the chalet behind (left to restaurant) it was tricky getting in and out when it rains at night as 1. no proper path and 2. no lights. Once these issues are tackle, you guys have a high potential. :)
