The first floor is composed of a common relaxation area and a small terrace where, during the summer time, you will be able to enjoy our rich breakfast, which consists of traditional Ragusan products. The first floor is composed of a reception and our three bright and spacious rooms, which are featured with balconies overlooking three different streets, which make every view unique. Furniture has been customised and made to fit different spaces, in this way our B&B has become an excellent small Hotel. Aurà is located in a strategic position.

Reviewed By mikaila86151The Albergo Diffuso offers an ample choice of rooms all around Scicli. For our stay we chose an elite Room at Palazzo Favacchio – Patanè. The building is a renovated palace which belonged to a Sicilian noble family. The decor is superb and the location is in the heart of Scicli, at a 5 minutes walk from the Municipio (where the Inspector Montalbano's office is situated). We can't speak more of the professionalism and welcomness of the staff. We arrived by train just when it had started raining very hard, and we called them from the station asking for assistance. In five minutes, they booked a taxi for us that brought to the Palazzo. They gave us, when checking-in, all the info about the area and what we could do. The next day, we had breakfast at the Cafe' Vindigni (in front of the Municipio). They had reserved a room for all the guests of the hotel, it was a very safe enviroment and breakfast was served observing all the COVID-19 regulations. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, we couldn't have asked for more. We would definetly reccomend the Albergo Diffuso!

Nice boutique hotel in the middle of Ragusa
Reviewed By yellowmavMy family and I came here for 1 night, The rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast had lots of choices and you can have as many items as you like. You can eat breakfast in a nice glass room or outdoor where they had chairs and tables with breathtaking views. I would like to mention that the pool is a bit small and rooms do not have a kitchen but else, I loved this accommodation.

Reviewed By mzh602The location of the b&b is perfect: close to the big public parking lot and has an unobstructed view of the old town. A 5-min walk uphill the property leads to the perfect picture spot that offers a panoramic view with the blue-domed church. Room is simply decorated but very clean. Shower is very good. Breakfast is quite a spread with all the essential choices. The hosts are a very friendly couple. It’s great value for money.

Reviewed By maaparThis place was a little hard to reach by car. You have to park across the street and unload your luggage and then go a convoluted route to park the car. Other than that though, the stay was a dream. What a gem! The owners are very helpful and friendly and the breakfasts are probably the best we had in Sicily. They are served in the beautiful garden area with a hot tub and pool and hammocks and lounge chairs. The entire garden area is a great place to relax after sightseeing. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. The hot tub was not set very hot but still refreshing. Be aware that it closes after 8 pm for cleaning. Very convenient to sights and restaurants on foot.

The proprietor, Nanni, was unbelievable to the two of us; he answered all our questions before we even asked, the room was speckless with a view that is still etched in my mind, the breakfast was not only filling but extremely tasteful. With a secret door down some steps into the base of the quaint old city, you’re ideally situated to drink coffee before wandering up and around the many unique quarters, as well as within striking distance of a very well situated beer stand (brick kiosk) run by Josepo. What a delight, we stayed 2 extra days!

The cleanliness of the rooms and all the B&B is amazing, the rooms are spacious with a very good and silent AC, the beds are so comfortable, another positive thing is that in all rooms there are mini-fridge that you can use for your own drinks, a TV and all rooms have a private balcony as well. Felice and his family are so professional and gentle that you feel your stay as you're at your own home. I recommend this B&B to all!! A++++

An absolute joy to stay here
Reviewed By Katherine BI was delighted and blown away entering the building. It was like being part of a fairy story entering by the huge door in to the covered courtyard. The host was charming and friendly. Our room was huge and cool with thick walls which made it wonderfully quiet. The breakfast room, reached through a patio and up stairs fringed with fragrant jasmine, was full of family items and grandad appeared to show his ancestors. It was relaxed and friendly and I loved staying here. The location is good and although we only stayed for one night we were able to look around town and know we didn't have far to go back to our accommodation. Breakfast was extra and was good - especially the bread.

Constanza welcomed us with an upgrade to our room (there are only four here in this sweet, family-run place) since we were on our honeymoon. The room was quiet, cool, and had plenty of space for us to stretch out. Breakfast in the morning was truly a delight—Costanza shared her mother’s homemade strawberry granita in addition to beautiful local cheeses, fruit, and pastries. This was one of our favorite stays during our two weeks in Sicily; we would highly recommend to anyone for a simple, comfortable stay with an amazing location in Ragusa Ibla.
