Fantastic feeling of disconnection from civilization
Reviewed By ConquerorOfSummitsI’m not sure, whether we were only one, who faced with a difficulty to reach this place, but we’ve found it only from several attempts: Google, triply was giving us the wrong direction, which was leading us either to completely different hotels or just into the wood. In the end, we had to use offline map and could finally reach the place. And it’s not a complaint, at all, it’s just our story. The rest I can say, that we spent here three nights and every day here was special for us: we lived in authentic jungle house, we were listening to cicada’s and other insect’s magical sounds, the sound of river, flowing nearby…These all, gave us an impression of disconnection (in a positive meaning, of course!) from the civilization. At the same time, the hotel provided us with basic blessings of civilization, we might have needed: shower, bed, food (the breakfast was especially good, I should notice) and so on. We also purchased tour option to Cheow Lan at reasonable price, here! Bear in mind, that there is no Wi-Fi in the room, only at restaurant, but, honestly, spending few nights without Wi-Fi, what is it, if not the pleasure you can indulge yourself, isn’t it? The staff was great and ready to help, if it’s possible. For example, when we asked to move us from the first floor to the second one, they've met us a half-way (we were lucky enough, that there was an available option). As for the drawbacks, we've found only two: there was a filthy fan in our room and the bed seemed to us not so soft enough (but it can be only our personal perception) In general, I can say, that we are infinitely mesmerized by this place and definitely will come back.

Comfortable, Good Value Accomodation
Reviewed By jazsacherWe stayed 2 nights at the Khao Sok Country Resort which turned out a smart and convenient decision. We toured Khao Sok National Park which was literally a 1 minute car ride from this Resort which provided for easy and quick access from our lodge. Our room itself was only 500 THB per night which we only spent time there for the evening and sleep. The wifi was good, the shower warm, and air con very efficient. Plus we found the bed incredibly comfortable. Overall, this was a high value and high efficient stay which we're gladly do again.

We had a once-in -a-lifetime experience here and it was our favorite place in all of our two weeks in the country. What’s so nice about the Resort is that it’s like glamping in a tree—air conditioning, clean rooms, beautiful outdoor showers, nice beds and locking doors but then you also get to experience nature...deep in the jungle, monkeys and other wildlife everywhere, beautiful flora, showering outside and listening to the rain. We loved the staff everyone was so nice and the food was amazing, like true home cooked soulful Thai food. Soul food! On top of that, you can pick any activities out of the book and they are plentiful. We went on a night safari that we will remember for the rest of our lives—so much adventure awaits you here and if that’s what you’re looking for, definitely stay here at Mr. Tee’s and his wife’s amazing place.

Reviewed By ThomasNL85Very rustic and nicely maintained tree house resort by the riverside. Owners were very kind and helpful in setting up tours and activities. The husband has a real love for nature and his excitement is contagious. We booked a day tour which was excellent but operated by someone else, and a trip to the nearby elephant sanctuary, which was owned by the family. Very entertaining trip with an extra sidetour to some coffee fields atop a nearby mountain.

Splendid 2-nights stay with two adventure tours
Reviewed By 787yulianpWe spent here with our friends splendid 2-nights this month. We also visited Elephant Sanctuary and had Khao Sok trekking tour with the long-tail boat ride. And we also had barbecue there. We really enjoyed it.

A wonderful jungle experience
Reviewed By DieterJennifer86We stay there for 2 nights. We booked the tent which was spacious and comfortable. We like to listen the rain and the sounds of the animals. The breakfast was the typical standard and you could order the egg or Thai breakfast every morning. In the evening we had dinner in the lodge restaurant. The food was very delicious and really a lot. The atmosphere to eat there was amazing. One evening we booked the jungle dinner which I can highly recommend. You will join the preparation of the food in a traditional way. At the end you can enjoy this very tasty food inside a bamboo hut. We also booked the day trip to the Khao Sok National Park. This great natural adventure brings you by boat to a ranger station at one far ende of the lake. During the trip you will enjoy the stunning nature. At the ranger station you have the chance to visit and passing the Nam Talu Cave or just relax at the station. The jungle walk to the cave and the through the cave was my most impressive adventure. You have to wade and swim inside the dark cave but you will rewarded with great formations inside the cave. You should be physically fit for this adventure. Our last trip was a bamboo rafting tour along the river. This is very relaxed und you can just enjoy the nature. Also you will have a very special break during the rafting. The friendly lodge staff organize everything very well and without any stress for a good price. Thank you very much!
