Reviewed By LutonnilWe have spent 9 nights here and from the moment we arrived to the truly warm welcome to the moment we left it was wonderful. Our room was kept spotlessly clean as was the entire hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast provided had ample choice to set you up for your day ahead. In the old Thomson holidays brochures this hotel would have been the very definition of "Small and Friendly".

Very friendly and accomodating
Reviewed By vickywiltsWe stayed for a week at the end of May. Trying to give a realistic review without sounding negative as the staff are so lovely. The hotel is a 3 star, with basic rooms and facilities. The bed base and headboard, side tables and bathroom are all made from stone. However, the mattresses were very comfy. The room was spacious and clean. They were cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets. There is a hairdryer in the room which was great so no need to take one with you. I'm a hairdresser and fussy with this :) The safe was 15 euro for the week and then we paid 3.70 euro at the end of the week for taxes. The balcony was small but enuf for two with a small round table and chairs supplied. We were very fortunate to have been offered a room with a better view. There are only a few rooms that have a pool view. We had room 35, which was the best view of the pool and backdrop of the beautiful mountain behind the hotel. This made the holiday for me and the view of the beautiful pool. This was also cleaned and maintained daily. The breakfast offered was a choice of cold and warm food but it went cold quickly so if you wasn't there when the freshly was put out it would be cold. It was replenished as it went down. The poolbar is open from 11 till around 10 but not many sat there in the evening. We did, had a glass of wine and chatted to Korstos the pool staff member who has only been there a month and is so lovely. Good luck to you for the future Korstos. We got back around 9.30 one evening and hadn't eaten so Manos made us pizza and fries. He is so helpful and accommodating. He attended to a nasty bite I had and even gave me the products to attend to it for the rest of the week as he owns pharmacies back in his home country. Thank you Manos. You were very kind. The location is a little away from the beach. It was about a 15 minute walk. It didn't seem too far when you get used to which path to walk down but the main road is busy without pavements so be careful especially when it's dark as the cars are quick and very little lighting in parts. The paths to get to the beach that are quicker to walk through and less lonely were opposite Bob's bar, a little further down past a reggae bar. I wasn't happy to walk the paths at night so we went back before dark. But the restaurants and any live entertainment is down at the beach front. Aqua restaurant is must. Great food and service and a bottle of Mythos for 4.50 euro and it is a bigger bottle than most places. The beach beds are free if you buy a drink or food from the restaurants which is great. The hotel has excursions that they can arrange for you which I didn't realise before I went and I booked with Tui before. But Manos will help you with this. The bus stop is down by Bob's bar and you can get 20 min ride to Fira for 2.20. Its easy and super easy to get back too. The buses get busy and you may have to stand. Fira is just as beautiful as Oia with amazing views of the Caldera. Nikis restaurant is beautiful. Great food, views and reasonable to watch the sunset in style . Oia is beautiful too but very busy and I personally felt it wasn't as enjoyable due to this. But it is lovely to see. The hotel may be a 3 star but the service was most definitely a 5 star. Thank you to Manos and Korstos for making our stay more enjoyable.

Perissa has a small path, close to our facilities, crosses the mountain and leads to the ruins of Ancient Thera. From Perissa to Fira, the capital of Santorini , is 15km and from Perissa to Oia, to watch the famous romantic sunset, is 28km. The airport is 14km and the port 10km.

Reviewed By Paradise600349We stayed here for a week on 17 sept we was booked in for a room but the very friendly owner let us have a studio with balconies as it was free Such a lovely family very helpful with pick ups snd covid tests The room was cleaned everyday spotless the front is all tiled recently snd a lovely wall out front we had views of the mountains snd the little church in the mountain and the front balcony had bores over the sea Beach was 100 metres away lots of lovely tavernas along the beach front lots to choose from We hired a quad from George down the road great way to get about Oia is a must the lovely fishing village where u can eat at the quayside also the port U Can go off the beaten track too with the quad so more fun Would definitely be going back to see stay at ancient thira highly rate

The worst hotel and host ever!!!
Reviewed By jovanap787I can't even call it a hotel cause it doesn't look like one. Our room was so dirty, there was so much dust on the floor, i don't even think anyone cleaned it before our arrival. But this is nothing compared to the horrible host. She was so rude that sometimes we were even scared to ask her something because she would start yelling or roll her eyes at us. Also the breakfast was a catastrophy. She buys some cheap stuff from the supermarket, puts it on a plate and that's your breakfast. Also the first morning we thought one plate was for one person, and me and my sister took two plates and the host started yelling at us in front of everyone What do you think you're doing, put it down!! Also while we were there she called some construction workers in 5 o'clock in the morning and we couldn't even sleep. I have the worst experience ever with this hotel and especially the host. I strongly don't recomend it to anyone!!

Reviewed By 951leannesWe stayed at the Anastasia Princess last week, the hotel is simply beautiful, the staff made our stay fantastic, breakfast was delicious ,the two pools were great to cool off in. Rooms were lovely , really spacious and well equipped with everything we needed & cleaned every day. The hotel is a just a stones throw away from the beach and restaurants , the bus is €2.20 to Fira and with stops it took 45 minutes. The hotel arranged our transfer to and from the airport and booked us a table in Fira for dinner to see the sunset . Nothing is to much trouble for the staff. My husband used the gym on two occasions which he said was very good. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Perissa and we hope to return next year.

Accommodation ranges from rooms with double occupancy to larger studios that sleep 4-5 adults on a self-catering basis. All rooms offer a private terrace. ROOMS FACILITIES: For your comfort, all rooms and studios have been recently refurbished. We have installed in every room double soundproofed opening windows, a self-operated inverter air condition, TV with private satellite receiver, a full size refrigerator with deep freezer, a private safe deposit box, hairdryer, direct dial phone, a private bathroom with shower equipped with shower curtain and amenities, a private balcony or veranda. Highlights: Beds have new anatomic and ecological mattresses. WI-FI high speed secure internet connection in the room free of charge.

Reviewed By Peter EOur first time on Santorini(and certainly not our last).I cannot believe how lucky I was to find THE BEST Hotel here because we will not book anywhere else in the future.On our arrival the welcome we got from Vassilis(the Boss) and Maria was so relaxing,we felt at home straight away.They are such lovely people who make you feel like part of the Family and our first night was spent with Vassilis and some of his lovely friends by the pool drinking some of his own wine.It could not have been a better start to our holiday.We had a wonderful time on this beautiful Island with the help of Vassilis and Maria's knowledge and WHEN we come back this is where we shall stay.I recommend THE BEST 100%.

Reviewed By Resort15362010468An idilic couples holiday hotel, staff cannot do enough for you the rooms are spacious with a super king bed and whirlpool tub in our suit. Room cleaned and fresh towels every day. Breakfast Continental style but with massive extras like bacon eggs sausage as well as pastries juices etc. easy walking distance to loads of bars and tavernas at a very reasonable cost. Hotel has 24 hour desk with pool towels, robes towels and slippers in the room with tea and coffee facilities as well as sun loungers in your private courtyard Two large pools, one not pictured, we let the hotel manager book a tour for us which was cheeper than the TUI equivalent and it was great, very quite and surreal complex very relaxing 10/10 in my book, I have traveled to dozens of countries and put this hotel in my top 5 of places to return to. Ideal for honeymoon or relaxing couples break hotel is cost wise on the higher end of your budget but 100% worth the money
