Reviewed By mariajosef74The property has an easy access in Makrinitsa. The views from several terraces in the hotel are stunning! Our room (Petrino) had everything we needed for a remarkable stay. Kiki is the best host ever, also Eleni and Niko are great! The breakfast was mainly local stuffs, absolutely delicious and simple. We had a singing night with Niko (playing guitar) Kiki (singing) and some other hosts (doing our best :-), we had such a lovely time. Sad to leave the place but sure that we'll be back. I highly recommend this lovely place, is absolutely worthy! A gem in Makrinitsa :)

Ideal location, between the two villages of Makrinitsa and Portaria (walking distance, or a very short drive); beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself is immaculate, beautifully designed, big, bright rooms. Breakfast is basic, but good. The family that owns the place is lovely, they were very helpful in giving us local advise and recommendations of where to go off the beaten path. Those suggestions made our time at Pelion truly remarkable. Highly recommended!

We are a small family-run guesthouse, situated on the seafront of Damouchari old harbor, where "Mamma Mia" was filmed. We have two 5-bedded apartments and one double room, all facing the sea and completely rennovated this year (2012). Our place is suitable to travelers who prefer family atmosphere and originality, than big hotels and mass tourism.Best regards from Victoria, Pascalis, Tomas, Katerina & Fevziye.
Delightfully dreamy stay in a stunning location!
Reviewed By Laura PLovely and quaint accommodation right on picture-perfect Damouchari harbor. We were only here two nights, but would have been happy staying for a month! Victoria and her family are so kind, helpful and welcoming. After the [slightly harrowing but worth it] drive down the mountainside to the harbour, we were greeted warmly and encouraged to relax and have lunch/drinks in the restaurant overlooking the water. All the stresses of travel immediately fell away. Our double room was clean, comfortable, artsy, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a balcony view. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious with many options including homemade pastries, eggs, fruit, cheeses, etc. We were able to have our laundry serviced for a small fee which was SO helpful. 'Shakayak' (Tomas) also runs their ocean kayak tours out of Victoria's which was a perfect coincidence for us, as we had booked this in advance (a not-to-be-missed experience, by the way)! Truly, I have traveled many places and this has been one of the most delightful stays. It's impossible not to be relaxed here! If you are visiting the Damouchari area, look no further - Victoria's is just perfect!!

Reviewed By Lov2travel56We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel with old charm. Our room was very big with corner view of the ocean. Very comfortable bed with nice linens. The bathroom was spacious with a huge bathtub! Breakfast was delicious with homemade preserves and the yummy Greek bread. All the staff was wonderful! We are looking forward to go back to this great hotel.

A bit disappointing after the hype

The staff of Theta are all charming and the building is finished to a high standard and very clean. But that is it! The walls inside are a drab brown, there is no art on the walls or apparent attempt to make it homely. It feels just very clinical. Even a few plants on the terrace would soften it. Also bfast is pretty dire with a diluted Orange cordial on offer for orange juice and the rest of the fayre on the budget side.The espresso coffee an extra. So yes with a bit of work this really could be an “excellent” hotel but at the moment we felt it was objectively good . The views and location are perfect however.

Reviewed By sufip2019The hotel is small and very clean, the pool is really nice and well maintened. The rooms are very well equiped with kitchen and fridge as well and they have also balconies. The family that runs it are very kind and ready to help. The sea is only 3 minutes away.
