Easy to find food and to go shopping and also many water activities are available. We stayed at Seaview room with balcony. You can hear the sound of the wave from the balcony itself. Worth the money.

Reviewed By AdelinaaddThis is my first time coming, my husband did all the booking. Behind that small wall was an exceptional hotel. Loved it a lot. Staffs are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple yet filling and delicious. Loved the ambience, and i will definitely recommend anyone to come here. The rooms are clean, except for the aircond in the 1st suite we booked but was professionally solved within minutes by the staffs. They even have 2 cats, both well fed and it was relaxing to see things are so calm and easy. Parking is not an issue, theres even a mart right opposite the hotel. Go and check it out

Excellent position, 5 minutes walk from the beach, here you can rent scooters and also get breakfast for good price. Enjoy the comforts of a sea frontage tropical wooden Malay house. A home situated next to the Chenang river and the local fishermen's pier, and is minutes away from the famous Chenang Beach. A perfect place to enjoy the sunset and relax. This gorgeous home is paradise to a middle aged couple with five young children. Travelling is their passion and the only setback is their not so bottomless pocket. Their passion about tradition, nature and culture is reflected in the decor of their home. Their purpose is to make sure your stay away from home is comfortable and homely. Our home is situated near a fisherman's pier This gives guests the opportunity to meet the locals as well as learn more about the fishing culture. Nothing is too far from our home and we will be more than happy to guide you to the sights and wonders of this historical and mythical island.
Hotel guest don't matter
Reviewed By 973claren놘 – The service was awful. We felt like a massive inconvenience to the staff from start to finish. We arrived just after 8pm. The place was in complete darkness with no member of staff any where. I called the booking.com number and no reply. My friend did a Google search and got through to someone not working who gave us a different number. Someone eventually came and gave us our key but explained nothing. There was no apology. The cafe here is extremely popular for breakfast and understandably, the food is delicious. However the system for making drinks is ridiculous. We waited 45 minutes for a latte and hot chocolate. Again there was no apology for the wait. While at breakfast we noted the sighn that said the kitchen closed at 5pm. We tried to order fries at 4:30pm and were told they closed. The impression we got was the cafe was the priority and serving the room guests just got in the way. While we were there we met another lady who was there on her own. She woke up this morning and there is no breakfast and no one has spoken to her about this. Her room includes breakfast. I realise it's an important public holiday but if they don't want to serve guests they just need to close. Taking peoples money without giving them the service they paid for is stealing. I'm so disappointed as I have wanted to stay a Panji Panji since it opened but I won't be going back.

Horrible experience

Before I mention anything about the horrible situation we found ourselves in - our room was very very basic. The shower was dodgy and wasn't working properly on a few occasions. Also the noise of construction going on outside in the mornings woke us up numerous times during the week.... Anyways: On our last day we checked out and my partner asked the woman in reception could he leave his bag-pack there before we had to catch our flight in the evening (obviously trusting her that she'll keep an eye on it / or place it in another safe room until we return). Its later in the evening and he returns to the hostels reception to get his bag-pack only to find it opened and obviously looked through as things were hanging out of the bag. He soon discovers that his Macbook Pro, Canon camera and Kindle are missing from the bag. So after this he went to the manager who he got little to no help from - the owner who claimed to NOT be the owner was beyond obnoxious when we tried to speak to him. He told my partner that he was making this all up and nothing was stolen from his bag-pack and that he was a "typical European". We asked him could he ring the woman that was working at reception that morning as we didn't have sim cards to do so - and he refused to call her. It was really unbelievable how we were treated and how unprofessional these people were. They shouldn't be let run a hostel.

Perfect budget hotel

Great room for a great price, Wi-Fi was good and available throughout the whole building, there's a clothes line out front to dry your clothes after the beach. James the owner was super friendly and available all the time via WhatsApp if he was away from the hotel. 5 mins walk from the beach and some great restaurants. We also parked our motorbike right out front.
