Reviewed By subhradipdas1990Recently stayed in the hotel in mid of May 2022. I was bit hesitant before booking for 2nights because there were mixed reviews on Google. People gave reviews how rooms are small or dining area, which is just outside the rooms, are noisy, or oily food. But looking at the photos, I had a positive feeling and went ahead and booked a room for 2 nights. Coming to my review which is based on my own experience, below are the details. 1. If there were options for more stars in Google, I would have rated the hotel to the fullest. This is a very nice and beautiful property and the photos Internet don’t do justice to the hotel. The property is far better than what you would see on the Internet. 2. The hotel, I believe, has only 2rooms which can accommodate 2people. Rest all rooms can accommodate more than 2people and some up to 6-7 person. I stayed in a couple room. The room is standard sized equivalent to any modern budget business hotel. The room just looks small because of the large king sized bed in the middle and other wooden furniture. But the room comfortable. 3. The hotel is recently renovated and it is visible in its modernised washrooms. Though it is renovated, it has still maintained the look, feel and experience of a classy heritage property. 4. The guest service was perfect, whatever you need they will provide, only if the request is reasonable. My check out was at 6am in the morning; so I requested for my breakfast packed. The night before that they gave me toasted bread, butter and boiled eggs nicely packed for my journey next day. This means a lot. 5. They provide typical and authentic Parsi food which is very tasty. Our food was included in the package, and they provided food more than we could consume. No misery. If you want again, they will happily provide again. Again a very good experience. Generally mid or small sized hotels don’t provide enough food, if it’s included in the package. Just outside the hotel there is a very beautiful sitting area, where you can spend all your evening looking at the sunset and listening to the sounds of nocturnal insects. This place is just out of some Ruskin Bond stories. Overall my experience there was superb and I suggest to at least stay there for the experience. Just book blindly without any second thoughts. The place is just for people wanting to have absolute relaxation. One request to management, just provide Squatty Potty in the bathrooms as the commodes are too high.

They were looking for a hotel with scenic view & Pure Veg food and the hotel passed with flying colours on both the counts. They had memorable stay for 5 days with most delicious food with customization as they don't take onion/ garlic. They even arranged a nearby GH on first night when rooms were not available in their hotel. Staff is very courteous and humble. Special mention about Aruna ben who was very co-operative and made their stay memorable...

Reviewed By Chinmay5530We were looking for a nearby location for 2 nights. We decided upon going to Panchgani. Started looking for valley view accommodation and stumbled upon Tranquil Treasure on booking.com the rating here 7.8 is and the pictures, reviews looked great. I contacted the owner/manager and finalized our stay for 2 nights. Before booking I confirmed the room condition will be good and hygienic to which Mr. Gill said that he has families staying and have them as regulars. I was asked to pay full tariff of 6400₹ upfront via gpay which we did once done the booking was confirmed. We called the caretaker Milan who guided us to our room. The first look was of a neglected property, but we thought maybe it is because of heavy rains in this part. Our room was on the 1st floor as we entered the passage there was a foul smell when asked Milan said its due to rains. When we went to our room, we were shocked to see the condition of the room it was stinking, and the overall condition was pathetic. Leakage in walls Unwashed/stinking Curtains Filthy/Dirty Couches Broken Windows Unflushed/Uncleaned Toilet Our worst nightmare came true when our son (4 yrs old) was playing near the window and the curtain rod broke and came down missing our son by a whisker The curtains were heavy if they would have hit him it would have a very very bad situation We called up Chinmay Gill to inform him to which his response was "give them a different room". This was the worst response ever. We told him that we do not want to stay as the room is in a very bad shape and not safe to which he simply said the tariff cannot be refunded. We shared the pictures of the room and called multiple times but neither Chinmay Gill or Advocate Gill have bothered to answer our calls or to our messages. We demanded refund as we did not stay because of bad condition in which the room was but all attempts of contacting them have been futile

Small Home-stay Type of place, but nicely furnished & well maintained
Reviewed By TrevorSaldanhaMaitri Retreat actually consists of 2 Bungalows - 1 Bungalow is an independent Ground plus one structure with a Large Living Room, Fully Fitted Kitchen & a Self Contained Bedroom on the Ground Floor, plus 3 Self-contained Bedrooms on the First Floor with a Terrace on top. All the Rooms are comfortably Air-conditioned with Split AC's and the Entire 4 Bedroom Bungalow is to be booked as one unit. This is good for Large Groups or 4 Couples Holidaying together. The other Bungalow has 6 separate Self-contained Rooms, all of which have a Kitchen cum Dining Room and a Balcony. None of these Rooms are Air-conditioned and these Rooms can be booked as a single unit. The place is located about 3.50 kms from the Main Panchgani Market Area in a Village called Godavali which is located at the back of the Table Land and is far away from everything. You must therefore have your own Vehicle if you want to stay at this place. Being away from the city, it is calm & serene and good if you want to enjoy Peace & Tranquility. Parking is a bit of a challenge here, as there is not much space for Parking inside the Compound and if all rooms are fully occupied, some vehicles may need to be parked in the lane outside. All the Rooms are Large & well furnished with good Linen, Towels, Bed-sheets, Blankets, etc. They have King Size Beds with Comfortable Mattresses & Pillows. All Rooms also have Satellite LCD TV, a Cupboard & a Dressing Table with Mirror. There is 24x7 Running Water & an Instant Geyser in each Bathroom to give you Hot Water whenever you require, which is good. The Balconies are a bit small, so not of much use. There is however a Large Common Open Area on the First Floor where you can sit out. Although they do not have a Restaurant, they have a small Kitchen where Breakfast Items (Poha, Upma, Sheera & Omelette with Bread + Tea/Coffee) is made fresh every morning & served in your room, which is nice. The Swimming Pool is small, but clean & well maintained. There is also a small Garden Area & a Bonfire Area around the Swimming Pool. This is a Pet Friendly place, so you can even get your Pets along with you, which is an advantage for Pet Lovers. The Staff are very obliging & serve you well. If you need Lunch or Dinner, they will get it for you from outside. All in all, a nice place to stay at for a Calm and Quiet Holiday away from the Hustle & Bustle of City Life. Their Rates are Reasonable as well, so they offer Good Value for Money too.

Each suite consists of a Living room, Bedroom with Attached bathroom, Kitchen, 1 common bathroom, and Attached Balcony. The beds are king-size bed and the living room has 2 small size beds. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. These rooms are lake view and mountain view. So you can have a glorious morning experiencing sunrise and feel eternal experiencing spectacular sunset.

Reviewed By DeepaksudhijaWe had stay with family. Location was amazing, rooms were too good, very clean. Infact it's not 3bhk bunglow it's 3x3 (1bhk) bunglow as all room has living area and kitchen. Care taker Mohan was very helpful and cooperative. His wife was a good cook and we enjoyed all the food she made. Pool was very clean Only issue was an approach road. About 500mt road was undeveloped ( katcha) and steep slope. Rest all nothing to complaint. I will surely visit again with family and would highly recommend. Deepak Sudhija

Hotel is pure vegetarian menu only. Housekeeping & Room service is good. Staff is good. Parking having small and limited car parking area. Overall good review. Hotel is in panchgani and Mahabaleshwar is 15 KMs from hotel.

Panchgani founded by a British named John Chesson in 1860s who was accompanied by Mr Rustomji Dubash, discovered an unnamed area that not only has 5 villages but was also surrounded by 5 hills. Hence the name Panchgani. Since it's a hill stations the tempratures here are very pleasing all round the year and making it a great hill stations getaway. It is located 285 km from Mumbai, 100 km from Pune and 18 km from Mahableshwar. The resort is located close to site seeings locations such as Sydney Point, Table Land, Parsi Point, Devil's Kitchen and Mapro Garden. The resort is spread over 7 acres of land with all views having the valley view. The restaurant over-looks the swimming pool which is a heighten structure overviewing the valley.
Elisium Pachgani is worst place to stay, total waste of money

It was horrible experience with Elisium hotel Pachgani, We stayed there 8-10 May 2022 with horrific experience, not at all maintained, water taps are damaged and broken, hot water problem, color on wall is damaged, electric switch and plugs are broken, After checkin, we found two cigarate packets and one rotten food packet in the drawer in the room which we alloted for kids, thank god they didn't try it out of curiosity. staff is not educated and not professional, looks like they are daily wages people. no wifi,, While booking veg /nonveg was mentioned, but on asking they denied and said, contact your agent.. after complaining agent with what was promised and what are actual services, they served nonveg, most of us didn't ate it as it was Monday. TV is there in room, but not working, seems they have not recharged. We were cheated for each and every amenities mentioned while booking. It is very very old property and owner dont even bother to maintain it. staff is very very casual. Food quality is also not up to the mark. Overall, we were cheated and trapped.

Property is in worse condition, need to avoid even at cost of Rs. 1,000/- per night
Reviewed By nagesh007it was rundown property, which doesn't have alternative rooms to offer, end up staying in a compromised way in very bad conditioned rooms. it was not even worth Rs. 1,000/- per night, we had ended up paying Rs. 4,500/- per night per room, worse experience ever. Since we had booked for two nights and lost Rs. 18,000/-, make my trip extend voucher worth Rs. 3,000/- as compensation, acknowledging the worse part of the property, please avoid this property at any cost. The entire rooms were not painted well, bed conditions were not great, bedsheets/toilet were in not so good conditions, no wifi beyond ground level (we're staying at 2nd level), and with a limited network to cell phone practically no connectivity during the stay the major challenge was very bad toilets, which was leakage in W/c pot and gifted with bad smell, without an exhaust fan, luckily, they end up putting exhaust fan at end of the first day of stay. we end up not using that particular washroom during the entire stay, and used another one for 6 audits and 2 children, as there was no choice left to us. They don’t have a kitchen to serve you food, they order from outside and make a profit on pricing as well, eg. On the first day we had offered Rice & dal just one portion for our child, and they had charged Rs.150/- for Dal & Rs. 100/- for rice, worse thing was it was not in great condition as coming from outside. Their pool was ok type but not maintained property, but nothing to avail in this property hence we had attempted to use the same, but not so good experience The management of the hotel reacts in a worse way to feedback from other users as well, pathetic property need to avoid at any cost.
