Reviewed By Kamarul S-Located in sitiawan,behind famous "kedai rm2" lot -room are quite big compared to other budget hotel around sitiawan -several choices of rates can suite your budget -air cond are well maintain -wifi connection is strong enough eventhough you are in the room -water pressure is marvelous -tv size are small just 23inch -parking lot are only available in front of hotel

Sitiawan here i come
Reviewed By 397CatLast weekend, i was in Sitiawan again - Somehow, i was drawn back to stay in this little warm Aloha hotel - for it's simple friendly environment, same economical value priced rooms, and now with improved excellent wifi bandwidth :-) The aircon works fine during my stay and i didn't had the same experience as the last reviewer on air con problem. This time, i noticed even "mak salleh /ang mo/ foreigners" are checking into this small warm hotel. Early in the morning like 7am, i was craving for food. Walking a few shops along the row from the hotel, i found this "chinese coffee shop/noodle store" which didn't look "dressed up" but had excellent chicken curry noodles, kampong chicken eggs and great hot milk tea. It is a simple family set up and the aunty said the curry chicken, stock for the noodles etc are all home cooked - no wonder it felt like eating at home with no after taste of aji no moto. It was a satisfying yummy breakfast. Do check them out and not missed them while you are around this area

It did the job
Reviewed By ELAYTEEAs this is obviously a review of a 1 star budget hotel a 3 star rating aint too bad imo. We paid for 3 double rooms for 1 night. The cost was £39 / 211MYR. When we arrived, it turns out that 1 of our rooms was not available because the previous guest took the keys, tv remote and aircon switch home with him. We ended up getting 1 twin room and 1 double room instead but no discount. The rooms are up 1 or 2 flights of stairs, depending what room you get, so if you have heavy luggage like we did, prepare for a workout as there is no lift. The rooms are tiny and even with 2 ppl and bags it feels too cramped. They are also quite dark and I am not sure the locks would survive even a light kick, so be wary of leaving your valuables. The rooms were of average cleanliness, the AC was very good, especially since its such a small room, we did not try the TV. The shower is noisy and there is no bathroom ventilation. There was also a frequent scent of sewage from the bathroom drain which was present in both rooms we booked. Probably the worst aspect is the soundproofing... or complete lack of it. You can hear every single noise and this is no joke. People walking past, opening the entrance (loud alarm noise each time the door opens at all hours of the night), people running their shower. There were kids faffing about in the hall at all hours of the night and day treating it like a playground. We stayed at opposite ends of the same floor and my cousin said she heard me laughing at a joke from my room down the hall. The hotel also lost all water pressure for half an evening. Not sure if this was a hotel fault or a supply issue so will not mark them down for this. Manager was friendly and responsive, quick to solve problems. Malay receptionist could have been a bit more on the ball but it was ramadan so perhaps she was tired from fasting. Overall, we used this as an emergency booking for a 1 night stay. It did the job.

Reviewed By Z5201REedgarsHad visited them during the break in MCO in the past. Really a nice quiet getaway with my wife . The studio was nicely furnished and it faced the beautiful sea. Lovely sunset and getaway. It was sanitized daily and I must say got it for a very good price. You must visit. Call 0146417833 or 01126407873 for reservations. Nice pool too.

Comfortable stay
Reviewed By gtp-op75We were three solo travellers visiting friends in Lumut. We booked three rooms for an overnight stay. Fadhli, the manager handled our booking and check-in/out efficiently. Entry was by cardkey access and security was good. The 14 rooms are up a flight of stairs and our rooms were clean, bright and well maintained and had en-suite bathrooms. There's a kitchenette, water dispenser and fridge in a common area. The guesthouse is very clean and well maintained and located close to the main road which provides good and easy access. There are restaurants nearby. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable overnight stay.

Nice hotel, noisy location
Reviewed By GlobeHopeIf you stay at this hotel be sure to book a room facing the sea. The first night I stayed in a room 1st floor facing the street. You have to have the curtains drawn at all times as the opposite building is very close and thus the room is dark. Also the noise from the market place is terrible. They play very loud music almost all day and till they close at 2 am and after that more music from somewhere else till 4 am. The following night I had a bigger room with sea view, so much nicer and the music did not bother too much. Very clean place and polite staff.

Cleanliness is on point
Reviewed By Sarah CIt has a very beautiful view and it is also very near to the beach - Pasir Bogak Beach, just across the street. The monkeys there are not as many as reviewed previously, just be very careful and do not leave foods outside, then everything would be okay. The toilet is very clean, so does the room. The only thing is that I shared a 1-queen-bed-room with 2 other people, it is very spacious, but the owner kinda want me to upgrade my room, but that moment, there were no more rooms left, so we just used that room and it is enough.

Reviewed By jimmypenang55Small nice modern hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Efficient check-in. Mr Peh who is in charge he is friendly and very helpful. I stayed at 2nd floor its OK for me. Older people can request for 1st floor as hotel does not have a lift. Room Clean and all electrical facilities working. Same row with hotel have convenient shop. Walking distance about 10 minutes to Chinese Restaurant Pasir Bogat ( kolo ) and few other restaurants around that area. To Pangkor Jetty you can get a taxi send you there.
