The Top House Inn is a 200-year-old traditional Cornish Inn situated in the heart of The Lizard Village and is the southernmost pub in England. We offer 8 delightful, recently renovated and upgraded, ensuite rooms, some with sea views.
We had dinner here with our canine chum Jasper. Yes, it's dog friendly. We both had the crevettes to start, which consisted of six really large crevettes. Yummy! Then we both had the hake and chips for our mains, followed by ice cream. All of which was excellent. All very good at a very reasonable price.

The Harbour Inn, Porthleven, is a lively pub situated on the harbour serving fantastic food all year round using fresh local produce. The decor is a comfortable blend of old and new, creating an atmosphere which is relaxed, informal and individual. The en-suite hotel style bedrooms are cosy and inviting, blending comfort with character, some enjoy sea views over the harbour. Located, on the Lizard Peninsula (near Helston) with its beautiful beaches, historic harbour and quaint narrow streets of fishermen's homes is the ideal location from which to explore historic Cornwall.
Stayed for one night whilst walking part of the coastal path. Great location overlooking the harbour and right on the coastal path. The bar had a good selection of local ale, and the outdoor seating area was a nice place to pass the time with a beer or two. Unfortunately noise from the main hotel plant (machinery) could be heard in our room, resulting in a poor night's sleep, this was brought to the attention of the member of staff at checkout who apologised, but given the cost of the room, a quiet nights sleep should be a given.

We have four double en-suite bedrooms; each room is newly decorated in fresh relaxing colours with a fruity twist after the names of the rooms, Raspberry, Blackberry, Gooseberry and Mulberry. The rooms look out on the peaceful village of Gweek and each one has a large sash window which gives them a light and airy feel. The rooms have tea and coffee makers and clock radios. The bathrooms have a modern feel with slate floors and large showers. 4 AA stars.
We have been to the Black Swan a number of times and have never been disappointed with the food or service, we visited last night (second time in a week) and my partner had the seafood chowder from the specials board which was absolutely outstanding along with one of their pies which as always are delicious plenty of meat and extra gravy! I had the tapas which was the best I have ever tasted highly recommended! The young lady that served us was very friendly and helpful.

The paris hotel is a pub hotel situated in the small fishing village of coverack,on top of the harbour with water on three sides. The rooms are all brand new and finished to a high standard as of easter 2013. They are all en suite with great sea views from every room. The pub offers friendly and relaxed service with cask mark ales, locally sourced meat, vegtables and fish fresh from the harbour, all of which can be eaten in the bar or restaurant also with water on three sides.(a great function room) on nice days there is also a large garden area. Catering for weddings, birthdays and other large parties is not a problem.
We were staying at Sea Acres holiday park (10 mins drive away) .. all x 3 of us had the carvery which was excellent. Extensive choice of veg, good service and a sea view. Recommended. After eating we had a look round Coverack village, v impressed with the effort villagers had gone to re the decorations for the Queens jubilee

We live locally and decided to try the Old Inn for a meal as we hadn’t been there since lock down. We got there early and went to the bar for a pre dinner drink, the bar tender was a very pleasant chap and very helpful. At 7:30 we went to stand at the sign that said “please wait here to be served or seated” so we waited and waited, eventually the bar tender asked us what we were waiting for and we should have ignored the sign! We got shown to our table by a woman that gave the impression she wanted to be at home with her feet up. We waited and waited the grumpy woman returned and asked us if we were ready to order, we were actually ready to go for a take away. We waited a further hour for our food to arrive and when it turned up there was a steel bowl of lumpy rice a steel bowl of very bland chicken curry , a pot of mango chutney and two chewy poppadoms, Mine was a light brown and my wife’s was a dark brown but actually had some flavour! We ate what we could and left never to return. It annoys me as they obviously don’t care but work on the principal most holiday makers will only visit once then there will be a new batch the following week.

We visited here for breakfast; its a quirky place and full of interest, such as the goats! Decent size carpark and a nice size cafe specialising in to die for Pancakes! You essentially pick the type of pancake you wish, including crepe, pick a main topping and then if you dare pick a side topping as well. They are tasty I had the avacado and bacon, with egg such a different and lovely breakfast. Staff all friendly and happy.
