Shame about the beachfront
Reviewed By sydneysteveI stayed here for 5 nights in a bungalow with a (basic) garden view The staff were all friendly and efficient. My room was not large and there was little shelving and hanging space. I think 2 people would find it difficult to feel comfortable. The aircon, lighting and fridge were all okay but all the the TV cable channels were in Thai. The bathroom was large but still a wet room. The water heater worked okay but the shower was positioned next to the door with the towel railat the other end. Only the shower wall was tiled, the other 3 walls were bare concrete. The timber vanity affixed tot the wall would make a good museum piece. The porch had old timber furniture with each bungalow having a wash station which was handy. Plenty of mozzies so make sure you have your spray. My breakfast was included and was limited to eggs, hotdogs, toast, jam, juice and 3 different fruits each morning but was more than adequate. There were tables and chairs outside the restaurant building but the timber sunloungers had no cushions. Although this property is beachfront, the beach is very narrow and many boats park along this stretch of beach. Boats parked in front of the resort was hit and miss. Overall, I don't agree with the 3 star rating, particularly given the bungalow. I've stayed in many 2 star rated bungalows around Thailand better appointed than what Salisa provides.

Destaco, por sobre todo, al Manager Nay y su staff, quienen están atentos a cada requerimiento del huesped y lo hacen con mucho cariño y amabilidad. Pasamos allí 24 noches y lo volveríamos a hacer. Lo recomiento 100%.

Reviewed By sebastiangL4850JEWe stayed in a Beach Front Bungalow. The bungalow itself and isolated was actually nice. The issue was the ”private beach” which was an absolute disaster. In the evenings the Trash flatboat for the whole islands garbages stays 10 meters(!) from the bungalow. So its a mess! There are also local people sitting outside your bungalows on your veranda. We paied 90€ per night which was way to much. Dont recommend this one.

Reviewed By ScDg11) they don't inform when check-in that they have only one key from the room, and if the customer doesn't give it to housekeeping, nobody will clean the room (refill toiletries, drinking water, change towels etc), we didn't know it until we came back to the hotel in the evening and nothing was done in our room. 2) the light at the entrance was not working, when we informed housekeeping, she just waived with her hand in unknown direction and didn't take any action. 3) there was no single day, when we didn't have to report a problem with our room to the guest house staff, literally every day there was something either out of order or not done. 4) by the way they don't know how to clean rooms, we lived all 5 days with spider nets and spiders near one of our beds (standard twin room). they don't mop floor at all, until the guests check-out and only if they left the room dirty. which was not our case as we are very clean and accurate people. they don't even brush the floor. disaster.5) the safety box is useless, it is not fixed in the room and can be carried away in a small bag, there are no batteries to lock it with a code, and the only key is attached to the room key, which has to be put in the socket for the electricity. TOTALLY USELESS.

Reviewed By 591edgardWe felt like this place was not half as bad as it is made out to be. If your expecting beachfront luxury for hostel prices then this is not the place. However if your happy having an authentic bamboo hut 10 feet from the sea then this is the for you. For the price we cant complain, we stayed in 12 bed dorms for the same price. There was a powerful fan, fresh bedding and clean towels which is all we needed. We actually found the old guy really funny and friendly, but there is a language barrier so dont expect too much from him. Get your information and tours booked at an agent. Its really a hate it or love it place. We loved it, wish we spent our whole time in Lipe here :)

Mountain Resort located on the end sunrise beach where is the best view point of sunset on this Island but, you can get the view of sunrise from here also. We are only one resort that has private beach, moreover in front of the resort still has the hard coral where you can snorkeling and enjoy with aquatic animal.Mountain Resort provide both of Fan and Air-condition bungalows. Our concept is "Clean and Private" but you can walking to walking street with in 10 Min, if you don't like to walk. We provide free buggy-car for transport. We are newbies in this hotel business and all of your comments and reviews always helpful to us. We will make the best holiday for every tourist. Thank you very much. :)

Reviewed By morningsun222We booked a honeymoon jacuzzi suite for 5 nights. The Interieur is lovely, big bed, fridge (filled up every day with nice little things), big terracce with a good view. Cleaning stuff friendly and very helpful! The breakfast is only for local ppl interesting - one very slow coffeemachine for 80 ppl in the morning is a challenge. A big pity is now the construction at the beach!! 3 new buildings coming up and anew resort was build on this beautiful sandbank what you can see in every picture (of course without...!) Longtailboote crossing the whole day - the stairs to the beach are dangerous for older ppl or kids.

Family-run and family friendly resort on the beach. Coco Beach Bungalows offers 18 simple and clean bungalows with en-suite bathroom. Nothing fancy but a cool atmosphere for relaxing holidays. All our A/C bungalows are equiped with western bathroom and hot shower. Free Wifi is available in each room and breakfast is included in the price of the room. Daily room cleaning. Coco Beach Restaurant serves delicious local food from 8am to 9pm. Family-suite, Family and Comfy bungalows are equipped with a small fridge and a kettle. They are A/C rooms. Standard A/C Bungalows are equipped with a kettle. Garden A/C and Budget A/C are basic rooms. The budget A/C bungalows do have fix windows that you can't open. Free beach towels are available at the reception. Free drinking water in the room (1 bottle per person per day).

Reviewed By Marksss1969We stayed at coco beach bungalows for 10 nights , was cosy and basic , had AC and tea making facility’s plus fridge. No safe in room or tv but seems no tvs on whole island even in the bars etc. not that u really need them ! Anyway coco resort is quiet and right on beach ( u literally walk straight on to it) resteraunt is still shut so no breakfast offered right now but they will do your laundry for a few baht. U can walk to all the resteraunts and shops in couple of mins or along the beach to a few in either direction . Grab a long tail right off the beach around to sunset beach for 100 baht and snorkel in the bay it’s great . All in all great stay and worth the price ?
