This is a small hotel offering basic rooms (but all you need). Rooms are comfy and clean. Towels, shampoo etc. is provided and staff are very friendly and attentive. If you are staying for one or two nights this is perfect also in regards to the price. Will go again when on Business travels.

A return to our local

First time back here in a couple of years. Not because of the pandemic but rather we had 2 bad visits in a row so decided to bin it. Last night it suited for a bite on the way into town for a show. In no particular order. The menu is quite compact. Guinness wasn't great. The plant burger went down well, whilst the beef burger was very average. Both looked a bit basic for the price. Our previous visits were marred by shockingly bad service. Service this time was good although the place was almost empty but a friendly smile was appreciated. We probably will give it another go over the summer.

Excellent value for money. Fantastic location. Buses nearby, can walk into Surbiton or Kingston from here. Lots of places to eat nearby. Ticked all the boxes. It was a revisit for us to this area after many years. Exceeded expectations. I would recommend room 15. Very quiet whilst on the main road and a lovely garden view.

Dusty rooms not suitable for allergies.

Lady at the pub was very nice and helpful , she seemed rushed off her feet . She checked us into our room and then took our order in the restaurant. Her service was first class and the food was really good too. The room however was disappointing, dusty carpet on the floor and walls ! The bed was spotless with clean linen. There was thick dust on the window sill and the material on the ceiling filled with cobwebs. An asthmatics nightmare so I loaded up with plenty of anti histamine and lots of inhaler to make it through the night. Be warned if you are sensitive to dust because there is plenty here. The bath room was very clean with fresh towels .

Cheap but not cheerful

Disgusting. Run down. Dirty. Wretch inducing smells from the pipes. Mouldy shower curtains. Missing bins. Broken blinds. Not detail cleaned between bookings. Detritus from previous occupants. Shabby linen. Peeling wallpaper. Missing carpet tiles. Abandoned bar area doubling as reception. Derelict rooms. Not actually in Kingston. No amenities, although tbh wouldn't eat here due to state of rooms. Definitely not a hotel. Avoid unless you have no other option.

Disgusting

Spent a few nights there and the dirt and smell of damp I am still washing from all my clothes. The place is probably the worst I've ever stayed in. The dirt and stains can be cleaned easily the obviously the owner doesn't care.
