Reviewed By raincitysunshineThe host is friendly, speaks good English, and is welcoming. There is a mini-fridge and a hair dryer. Ondol floor heating worked well. Space heater also provided. Check-in is easy during off hours with a code key. Nice pretty place. Jeonju itself is great and if it is your first time I recommend a guided food and drink tour one evening. Also a must for beer lovers is Nomadic brewing, which has both a main location and a small taproom in the hanok that also serves house-roasted pour-over coffee. Overall a good stay. The reasons I cannot give a full five stars: Like other hanok houses it has a cold, wet bathroom. It would be so nice to just separate the WC and sink from the shower. I would make some other suggestions to the owner to make the place more comfortable: Bath towels. The hand towels provided are not sufficient for bathing. Provide heating in the bathroom. If the floor heating could be extended in there, even better. Shelves or anything to put stuff on besides the top of the minibar. Real cups. The paper cups are tacky and wasteful. The price is high for the level of amenities. Unfortunately there are few (if any) hanok houses with comfy bathrooms and spiffy design elements. That is too bad bc there would be real potential to provide a more upscale experience. I would gladly pay more for it.

Reviewed By Alyssa HWhile this is one of many hanok accommodations located right within the village (and I definitely recommend staying in the village!), the service was what elevated the experience. I recommend contacting the managers ahead of time (if you don't speak Korean, by looking up choice phrases or getting a Korean-speaking friend to help you) because then they can really help you out. I was able to drop off my luggage in my room before check-in, at which point the manager also gave me a map and guided me through recommended spots to check out. I also let the manager know when I planned to leave, so I met him and he helped me to catch a taxi to get to my next destination. Do have realistic expectations of what you're getting -- it's a traditional style room, so yes, you will be sleeping on the floor! And the rooms are basically for sleeping, so they aren't huge. (There also aren't windows, so if you are claustrophobic, you might also want to reserve up a size.) The bathroom is a combined shower room with a hand-held showerhead. There is breakfast provided is light: toast, apple slices, coffee. But it has solid amenities to support you: wifi, individually-controlled air-conditioning, and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/towels in the bathroom/shower room. And if you're in Jeonju, you will want to spend your time wandering around and not staying in your room anyhow!

Reviewed By Philip SI hire a car from Inchon airport and drove to Jeonju for one night stay. Not too many hotel to choose from hotel website. Found Lime hotel and it provides free car parking. Not easy to find the hotel and it located in side street off main road. There are lots of bar and night clubs nearby and noises all night making me felt really bad. It is a boutique hotel and no restaurant inside. Room and bathroom are good and clean. The hotel rate is low so I didn't expect much. I wouldn't recommend travellers to stay if you can pay more.

Very Cozy and Authentic Hanok stay
Reviewed By Raphael GThis is a very nice and well kept guesthouse located in the Hanok village in Jeonju, which is the traditional Korean house area. If you are looking for an authentic stay this is a great choice. Please be reminded that the traditional korean houses will probably not offer you western style bed, instead they push thin cushions on the floor (heated by the way, what is great!). The guest house is found inside a pretty little alley nearby the river, so away from the crowds. The place itself is very picturesque with Korean wooden sliding doors and beautiful flower trees depending on the season. The owner is very nice and he also prepares the breakfast in a cafe overlooking the river. Simple but delicious. Overall a great place, will definitely go back.

Reviewed By Hannah11s해질무렵에 노을을 즐겨보세요. 멋진뷰. 신축이라 깨끗해요. 샴푸,바디워시, 비누,치약,칫솔, 생수, 음료, 차, 전기주전자, 헤어드라이어 비치되어있고 1층로비에 커피머신, 정수기 있음. 근처에 횟집들도 있음. 변산토박이 라는 가게에서 해물칼국수(15000원)먹었는데 백합과 새우가 아주 신선했어요. 변산물회해물국밥집이라는데는 음식이 싱겁고 들어간 해물과 국물이 따로 노는 느낌이라 별로 였음.

Reviewed By 525pablo2018친족 방문하고 와이프하고 한옥 마을 방문하려고 하루 더 묶으면서 이 호텔에 가게 됬습니다. 가격 대비 괜찮지만 도착하려면 매우 크게 돌아야 합니다, 약 2.5 km 정도. 황장실에 작은 문제가 있어서 바로 방을 업그레이드 해줬습니다. 근처에 많은 식당들이 있어서 매우 편리합니다.

Lovely guesthouse in Jeonju. Comfy beds.
Reviewed By nicolefM6679GQThis guesthouse was lovely. The owner was very helpful and spoke excellent English. We had the 3-bed room with a big bathtub. Though the mattresses were in a floor area, they were innerspring and very comfortable. The bath was excellent after walking around Jeonju with plenty of hot water and the water pressure from the shower was good. The place is decorated very interestingly with vintage games, wooden beam ceilings, art and feels very calm and light. The owner also has a golden retriever dog which our daughter loved. A block away from the Jeonju market and one of the big gates. An easy walk to the Jeonju Hanok Village. The stairs are quite steep to the rooms, so just to note if you have knee/back issues.

They will send SMS before you will arrive, so do not worry about how to park your car. In hanok village , this hanok guest house was so interesting for me ! it was within village but had an access from main road , which was so easy for transportation to train station, and from back door you could easily go to narrow alleys and start you walk in this beautiful village..of course when u are choosing to stay in a guest house u must not expect the service or cleanness of 5 start hotel, but i'm telling you , it worth it , even try one night to stay and live with the spirit of Hanok.. only one thing i must add, the breakfast is almost nothing.. just a bread and jam and tea , that was all.. so i was having mine in coffe shops .
