Reviewed By alice989898We came as a family of 4 to spend 3 nights in Guernsey. We really enjoyed the guest house feel and the information provided by the staff. Tobie was friendly and accommodating, as we needed to request 3 early breakfasts for our days trips and travel and he was more than happy to help. Breakfast was varied and plentiful including fresh fruit and guernsey milk. Tobie was very helpful lending beach towels and there is a nice selection of fruit teas which we had in the evening in reception. The location is a 15 min walk from the bus terminal and centre of town, a nice walk along the sea. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily with a top up of teas and coffees in the room. We would stay here again if we visited guernsey! Thank you to those at st Georges.

Excellent breakfast with selection of cereals and juice to help yourself to and a cooked breakfast made to order. Lots of toast and tea. Staff friendly and helpful. Packed breakfast made for us two days when we needed an early start. We stayed for a week and consider this guest house very good value.

A little Gem
Reviewed By SteveQ356How to describe the Queens, a little gem! The property is clean, tidy and homely. From the staff in the bar Jack and Elvis (yes his real name)to Marianne the lady cleaner all very friendly and helpful. Jonathon and his wife are very much hands on and can be found serving breakfast and then behind the bar at night. Food was really good and plentiful, but I would recommend booking in advance especially for lunch which always seemed to be busy. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday night but this is a pub, it was never excessive or continued late into the night. Getting round the island has a few problems as there is a shortage of taxis especially at night but the bus stops outside the church opposite that goes into town. A bargain fee of £1.25p for the trip which means you can go anywhere you like on the island for the same price. Overall we really enjoyed are stay here and will be back

The room we had was very clean, the bed was comfy and it was very quiet. The breakfast was superb and filled us up for the day. The Longfrie is ideally situated, with a car, or without. We didn’t have a car, the bus routes were good, to either the coast or into St Peter Port, and not far from the airport - also on bus route. A great friendly, welcoming atmosphere, unlike some hotels we have stayed in on Guernsey. We would definitely come back here again, and would highly recommend a stay here.

A six night stay
Reviewed By GillwiagWe had SUCH a lovely stay at the El Tabora. The location was great, a nice twenty minute (uphill) walk from town, although this also meant a downhill walk into town! There was a bus stop at the end of the road, a two minute walk away. However a supermarket and pub were within 5 minute walking distance, so we did not need to go far for necessities. The room was very comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. We were also given a small fridge to store snacks and drinks. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Everything we needed for a perfect holiday was available, and we will definitely stay here again. Cannot recommend this guest house enough!

Reviewed By carlagouldNote that if booking on booking.com app the yacht Inn have no recollection of. My messages even though they have replied. Asked for 2 single beds rather than a double and this was agreed a year before our trip. We arrived and no single beds, they did however find another room for the next night. They told us our teenage kids would have to move again on the last night to a room with a double bed. We didn’t want to move them again as the mix up was not our fault so we decided to leave a day earlier we were refunded our last night. The staff were just not very warm & friendly it felt like it was too much trouble. Rooms had amazing view but in desperate need of painting & new fittings. Breakfast was lovely. Had trouble parking outside there is no allocated parking for guests. There was noise outside from the pub also swearing from people drinking which wasn’t nice at all. Overall destination was outstanding hotel very basic, would have been nice if staff were a bit more friendly (this is not all of them, the ladies that changes the bedding & towels were lovely, also a few breakfast staff were lovely as well) A nice break on sea front, I would not return to this hotel but Definitely would go back to location. Thank you to the lovely dark haired lady that was so helpful x
