Reviewed By tlukkoThis is an excellent hotel on La Sicily Divide. It has a central but quiet location in Enna. The room is in a top condition. Everything has a particular artistic touch. I also recommend the restaurant of the owner: Bistre Siciliano con Giardino Paradiso. By far the best dinner I had in Sicily.

Reviewed By ChancheyArrived without prebooking at about 19.00. Requested 3 rooms, receptionist was very welcoming. Check in was fast. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served in disposable plates and cups which was abit disappointing, others breakfast was not bad.

Very pleasant host and hostess, Patrizia and Guieseppe who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Great Breakfast every day and Great Americano coffee. Close to everything. Right in town, anything you need is right nearby.

In the nineteenth century Villa Grimaldi, today Casa del Poeta, the homonymous aristocratic family ennese spent part of the summer. The stone building is a few km from Enna and a few hundred meters from Lake Pergusa, linked to the myth of the Rape of Proserpine, and reflects the architectural style of the houses in Sicily: high ceilings, generous rooms, a cellar dug into the rock, around a lot of green and embellished pairs of majestic cypress trees. The villa has changed its face, becoming a home for poets, artists and sophisticated travelers. Large common areas reserved to reading and writing, listening to music, browse a bed, a wall-to-read, one write about, a chandelier that inspires poetry, enhanced by a room and artist's books, everywhere, libraries-containing, mainly, books of poetry and literature.

Reviewed By Ginger1WinterthurBefore visiting the roman site of Villa Romana del Casale, we decide to stop in Enna. This historic old hunting house, not far away did exceed our expectations, from one side very peaceful, with a nice surround and a nice pool area. Following the recommendation of the staff we planned our dinner at the Masseria Bannata, some 20 min. drive in direction of Piazza Armerina. What we did appreciate very much were the mosquito nets on the windows, finally we were able to sleep with open windows.Nice breakfast selection.

Nice, spacious rooms and great location
Reviewed By helenakF2The advantages of this place are not only the location in the heart of historic part of the city, but also spacious rooms which seem to have been recently renovated. We didn’t expect an elevator in such a historic building, so being able to transport our luggage up to our rooms by the lift was a nice surprise. The owners of our b&b also run a very good restaurant just across the square - Bistro Siciliano con Giardino Paradiso - dining there was a great experience that gave us the opportunity to try specialties of local cuisine. Great quality of food and the place is very nicely designed too.

Very nice family run hotel
Reviewed By SuDohWe stayed there for some days in order to view places in the mainland suchas Piazza Armerina and the beautiful old town of Enna.There is also the Pergusa lake and the old Pirelli race circle nerby, You can do a nice walk of 5km around the lake, finding all kind of typical vegetation, Eucalyptus trees and a nature preserve parc right across. Already the drive out there throught the country is magnificent. The owner Giovanni is the best cook around, he and his family are always taking very well care of their guests and fulfill all wishes. The hotel is a traditional villa and has lately been fully renovated, very enjoyable and pleasant place to stay.

Reviewed By Tim RNice breakfast on the room and beautiful big room. No soap in the dispenser in the shower so they may want a checklist to make sure everything gets replaced. Host was very nice and organised taxis and anything else we needed. The location is excellent and in the middle of anything.
