Reviewed By R9240CRjamesbThis resort has clean comfortable rooms on beautiful grounds. There is hot water and even a hair dryer which was a nice touch. The owners went out of their way to help us rent bikes and find restaurants.

Reviewed By PF2UKLovely little getaway. Clean and comfortable bungalows with lots of space. Away from the main road but easy to walk into the centre of the town. Nueng is super helpful and friendly - a really nice guy. Small but tasty breakfast buffet and great eggs home-cooked by Nueng's son. Fantastic coffee from local producers on the nearby mountain. Highly, highly recommended!

Nice resort with a magnificent view !
Reviewed By Liling TOverall a great resort, view is directly in front of Chiang Dao mountain and hence you can take really nice picture just from the lobby/Swimming pool of the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Service is good. :) oh and remember to try their coffee !! Their coffee is really great with interesting “healthy 3-in-1 mix”x there is some room for improvement. Our room the wooden hut which is separated and have many insects in the bathroom especially! I understand that it’s close to nature, however I believe that there is more that the resort can do to help present insect from coming in. Tower is really thick and rough, a better quality hotel grade should be use instead. If you are worried about insect, it will be wiser to upgrade the room to the better tier.

Reviewed By kakaovyshatanSpent 3 night there. Would not ever change it for any other hotel/resort. The views in the morning, wildlife in the evening and at night were so stunning I wish I could spend there more time. Beautiful huts, clean and well maintained. Wish I could come back there one day.

Reviewed By dodgersblue_dVery relaxing atmosphere! There’s a pond, creeks, gardens, even a small place with deers, chicken, ducks and goose! Not to mention dogs and a water buffalo. It’s big enough to walk around for exercise purposes as well. Enjoyed our stay very much. The internet was slow and inconsistent but that’s about the only down side to our stay. Of course this was a family getaway and we told the kids no devices (we brought board games) so the slow internet was actually good!

Nice new resort
Reviewed By paulhX3110STThis resort is along the main highway running past Chiang Dao. This looks like it is still being build but we weren’t disturbed by any building work. The resort is spread over a large area and if you have your own transport you can park right outside your room. The room itself looked brand new and still had protective cellophane on all the light switches. Because it is spaced out it is very quiet at night. The breakfast obviously caters for its mostly Thai visitors but you can toast bread over hot charcoal if you find Thai food difficult to stomach in a morning. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Quiet, charming resort
Reviewed By sarahkQ9420YHThis was a lovely upscale little property--well-designed huts, garden, pool, open-air main hall and a good view of the main mountain. Very, very quiet. The young girls on the staff were eager to help, if not always able, and Nun, the bartender, made the most incredible cocktails I've ever had in my life. He serves half-a-dozen standard drinks (screwdriver, mojito, etc.) but the ingredients and mixing were really exquisite. My only complaints were with the location, which was close to the town rather than the mountain and entailed renting a bike (roads not biker friendly) or a songthaew (uncomfortable negotiations with drivers) to get out to the main attractions. Also, I wish there had been a masseuse on hand or on call. And the food really needs improvement! The breakfast was poor and the half-dozen dinner dishes only fair. A good chef and a masseuse would really elevate a place that already has a lot of potential.

The bustling town of Chiang Dao is also home to local markets and some excellent restaurants.

Plus the houses have semi-outdoor showers, which means you're basically taking a shower in nature but with all the privacy. Try and you won't be disappointed!

Very quiet location
Reviewed By Foffin+ cool location next to the mountain + breakfast was nice although coffee could be done a bit quicker so that it is not being served when the breakfast is over + dinner was very delicious - a little bit in the middle of nowhere. if youre just looking to hike or relax it is fine though - water pressure is not amazing and we were kind of cold under the shower - this is a family run place and you should be fine with the familiarity (then it is great); for us personally we could have had a bit less of that and more privacy so to say. but this is highly subjective and i have the feeling what is being extremely kind for a thai is probably closer to a bit too much engagement for a german
