Reviewed By kaledoniainBooked this online under the name Business Y Hotel but the sign outside says Lifestyle Y. It's close to both bus stations in Cheongju. Hotel grew on me after a few nights. Breakfast is mostly Korean food with hot soup and rice. Mondays are continental breakfast only. There is a Lotte Mart nearby and some restaurants walking distance. This area has some hostess bars but felt safe to me. Ice lollipops and soft drinks are complimentary for guests in the lobby. There is no fourth floor.

Friendly staff and walking distance to bus terminals
Reviewed By HTanoWe stayed there for 4 nights. The motel is walking distance to both the Express Bus Terminal (Seoul, Daegu, major cities) and the Inter-City Bus Terminal (Songnisan and other smaller cities around), they are just opposite of each other. For those who are planning to go Songnisan, there is a direct bus from the Inter-City Bus Terminal with regular departure. The staff on duty did not speak English, but they had someone on call who can speak fluent English and she provided us with her contact, she was called in when we checked in. Check in was pretty straight forward and they gave us a welcome pack with additional basic toiletries (on top of what was already provided in the room). The room is basic but sufficient for us. It is also very clean. They gave us a room with a PC, which we didn't really need. There was a nice TV with enough channels. There were various eateries around the motel (all walking distance), ranging from traditional Korean beef soup to fast food chains like Lotteria and Burger King. Lotte mart is also nearby.

Reviewed By 791Seoul청주 의료원에 볼일이 있어서 잠만 자려고 급하게 들어가게 된 숙소. 무인텔이라고 적혀있지만, 제가 들어갔을 때는 프론트에 사람이 있었어요. 가격에 비해서 숙소는 매우 넓었지만, 시설은 다소 오래된 느낌이었습니다. 방 자체는 매우 넓고, PC와 기타 기본 어메니티 일체 및 음료까지 모두 구비되어 있어서 잠만 자고 나오기에는 아무 무리는 없었습니다. 호텔급은 아니고, 넓은 모텔이라고 생각하시면 됩니다. 보다 쾌적하고 세련된 인테리어를 선호하시는 분들께는 다른 숙소를 추천드려요.

Budget Choice in Cheongju where you have few options
Reviewed By YeaherThere is only one international chain hotel in Cheongju which is not near the intercity bus terminal. We needed somewhere in walking distance from the bus terminal so we chose this area. The hotel is a "love motel" commonly found in Korea but the rooms are clean and suitable for budget travellers. It was newly open during our visit, so the room decor was all clean and good. If you dont mind the area being sort of "night district" (next to karaoke clubs), this hotel is nice to stay. Nice and spacious rooms, good location and good price

Reviewed By Nacho GIf youre not picking a hooker, this motel will make you appreciate the comodities of a railway station restroom. At least is no very dirty. Staff is very nice, like most of korean people, but definitively a low quality motel.
