Highly recommended - A great gateway to Chitwan National Park
Reviewed By Justin CWe had a great guide, Janak Pariyar, who was very dedicated to ensuring that we had a very good wildlife experience in Chitwan. Janak worked tirelessly to ensure that we were in the park at the best times possible and in the best positions to see wildlife. After the long days were over, he would come back and help us fill out our species list which was much appreciated. He knew all the birds and mammals in the area and was able to spot things that were very difficult to see. He did a great job. Friendly staff and good food made my vacation to explore Chitwan National park very successful and enjoyable. We stayed there for just over a week and the rooms were clean and the eating area overlooks a river and a field where you can sometimes see elephants bathing in the water!

Reviewed By 575nicspI booked the package through abhivadan expedition holidays Pvt Ltd. The agents from abhivadan are not supportive and thrive for money. They never see comfort of the travellers. I highly recommend travellers not to go with this agent. About hotel, the staff were saying something and do something different. The food was also not good enough. After checking out from the hotel, I tried to contact them for some queries but they didn’t responded. I do not recommend travellers to visit chitwan as it’s waste of time to go for “jungle safari” as you only can see deers and sometimes rhinos. The better to visit Kaziranga national park in India for tigers and rhinos and many other wild animals. There is nothing else in chitwan. The village site seeing is the worst as even any guide don’t know properly anything and the people in the village are much modern now. About the agent from abhivadan, I just fed up with them.

Our apartments are new and freshly furnished with an European fresh style mixed with a nepalese touch. The building is new: it has been built after the earthquake and it’s earthquake proof. We are located at a15-minute easy walk from Thamel, the crazy noisy and busy center. We are a little oasis of peace in Kathmandu and we are waiting for your visit!

Reviewed By 724fredyyAccessible going through a pedestrian street, Feel like home is a great place to live in. The place is really calm, the room very spacious, modern and perfectly clean. It is furnished and has all you need, just like an apartment: It really feels like home indeed quickly. But you also have all the services of an hotel, like cleaning services, laundry, reception, trekking. You are in the center of Kathmandu, so only 2 min away from ATM, 1 min away from restaurants, 2 min away from supermarket, and the rest is reachable walking. And the staff is really welcoming, helpful and kind: would you have any issue or question, they will do their best to help. Dilli Dai, I am looking forward to seeing you again around ! Oh and you have a really nice view of Kathmandu from the rooftop, where you can go for gym or take tea or just sightseeing. Note that the place is surrounded by embassies, so it is really secure (not that Nepal is a dangerous place whatsoever). I will come back for sure !

Reviewed By Tarun VPeaceful and green resort surrounded by beautiful paddy fields. Mr Rajendra , Mr. Basu and other staff were very friendly and hospitable. The owner( Mr Rajendra) arranged all the transport, jungle safari and other activities smoothly. The restaurant provided excellent hot food. The resort has 24/7 running hot water. The bathrooms were clean. Good place to relax away from the noise of the city.

You won't be disappointed with your stay at Rokpa and while there be sure to learn about its history and humanitarian cause. My longer than expected stay, was a success on all levels and I was treated with utmost kindness like a member of the family. Highly recommended. Rooms with stupa view are an added bonus.

Perfect little hotel in Thamel
Reviewed By Biswa MI stayed in Lemon Tree hotel in Paknajol, Thamel (not associated with the famous hotel chain of the same name) for 3 nights in June 2022. I booked a deluxe single room via MakeMyTrip. The room was small but perfect. It had everything one would need including wifi, hot shower, a spacious closet, neat and clean bedsheets and towels etc. Housekeeping came to the room daily to clean the bathroom and make the bed. They even replaced the perishable items like mineral water and bath soap. The hotel is situated in the tourist hotspot of Thamel but still a little distance away from the busy chaotic area near Narsing Chowk. No bars with loud music or dance clubs nearby. You can get a good night's sleep after a tiring day. Last but not the least, the staff were always polite and helpful - even while I woke them up in the middle of the night to open the gate. With discount the price of the room was less than 1000 INR a day, so it was complete value for money for me.
