Casa Ka´an is located in a fruit orchard surrounded by jungle. Its the perfect place for those searching for a quiet and relaxing place to stay close to nature. The houses have air conditioning, hot water, Wi-fi, and all the commodities for you to feel like at home. Each house has a private, fully equipped kitchen where breakfast is served every morning, and where you can cook your own meals.
We chose this hotel for our 2 day stay in the area to see Calakmul and Becan. Check in was easy, you will see reception and the restaurant when you 1st enter the property. We drove up a short road to Limon cabana, road does need work, a little rough. The cabana was very nice, hammock on the porch. Inside a little kitchenette, frig, sink, coffee pot, dishes. The room itself was up to date modern and clean. 1 issue we had was that the air con did not blow onto the bed and you would get warm in bed. We put the mattress on the floor where the air and ceiling fan could blow on us and it kept us cool. The food was very good, it was nice visiting with other guests at dinner about their travels. Great stay. Friendly staff. Lovely place.

Small wooden rooms located within the urban area of Xpujil, Calakmul, Campeche. They have hot and cold water, fan, parking, internet and an excellent location, with easy access to perform all activities offered in the municipality, such as visiting the archaeological sites and hikes in the jungle.
I loved my stay at this place! It's a family business and one of the owners gave us a hearty welcome and provided us with free water as a start and a welcome beer. It instantly felt like home since he answered all our questions and helped us organise getting around to see all the attractions we planned on seeing. Even checking out in the middle of the night wasn't a problem. It's great that those small places still exist where people trust you and you trust them. I'm grateful for this experience!

Pretty poor overall. No hot water at all at any time, so no shower. Room was cleanish, shower was dirty. But no side light, no side table, only just about warm enough with a thin fleece blanket. They didn't care there was no hot water. Dogs barking all night, cockrels in the morning. Very average food in the restaurant, they got my order completely wrong, then brought up chicken so overcooked I could barely cut it. Fresh juices were nice. Worse place I've stayed in Mexico so far.

First, this hotel is really a guest house. It is an colonial-style home where there is an open courtyard and all rooms border the courtyard. I stayed at this hotel from Oct. 22-24. It was a mediocre experience. The hotel location is good. It’s a few minutes walk to the Malecon and also to the old town. The rooms could use some shine. For example, the walls are dingy and could use a fresh coat of paint. Also, both nights, my room flooded due to rain storms. This is unacceptable. The front desk managers both told me this had never occurred before, so it is extremely odd, then, that this happened two nights in a row for me. Indeed, it is the rainy season. But that doesn’t justify lodging that floods when the wind blows and it rains hard. The hotel has a kitchen cupboard that is open to guests at any time. But it contains processed food like cereals and bread, so it is of no use to those who are health conscientious. On the plus side, the staff try to be as helpful as possible. Also, the hotel is owned by a Campeche local. It’s nice to support a local business.

Casa de Zari is a B&B located at the heart of Campeche. The house is from the 18th century. It is protected by INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History) and, like the city of Campeche, it is a world heritage site. At our B&B we aim to provide the traveller with a unique experience by staying in one of the colonial houses and giving them a taste of the local cuisine.
Beautiful. Great attention to detail, both in the beautiful building & decor, in the items in the room and in the food served. Communication was easy and it was also easy to reach and affordable with public transport & taxi. Sofia and her mother welcomed me very warmly and the room I was offered, felt like my private little castle. Amazing!! I highly recommend this place.

Hotel Barranquilla offers a lodging service for all those business or pleasure visitors. It offers a reception open 24 hours, 20 rooms with air conditioning and cable TV.
I have stayed there only one night. Location is not the best considering that i could hear at 4-5 in the morning crowing roosters. There is no internet in the room!!! Only downstairs in the reception. And air con was impossibly stinky - full of mold and fungus. For a price of 400pesos a night it should be better! I ve stayed in better hostels for 250pesos in mexico! The only thing which was satysfying - comfy bed!

Difficult to review this place - strong feeling that it is living on past glories and has gone downhill since Covid. But staff were friendly, breakfast on our terrace was very good and the setting was lovely. The noise of the cockerels and other birds. was not an issue for us - the garden courtyard was lovely and great base for exploring ruins. However, no tea or coffee maker in room; no mini bar and no mountain view - all of which are stated on bookings.com. No bottled drinking water; no door locks, no safe. No on-site restaurant or bar. (except for breakfast). No wardrobe / closets for hanging clothes. No car park - parking is on a quiet country track.

Located in strategical spot; the Mayan World door, Global Express Escarcega offers a close location to the main tourist places in the area; Cancun, Merida, Campeche, Calakmul, Palenque, Edzna and many more. with wide and comfortable rooms; first class services and all in the same path to your final destination.
We had planned to stay in Conhuas (near Calakmul) for another night before driving to Campeche the following morning, but when our basic cabana accommodations (no Wifi, little-to-no hot water) lost power, we gave up the ghost and, with only an hour to go until darkness fell, threw our stuff into the rental car and drove to Escarcega. Googling hotel reviews as we came into cell service, we found the Global Express, which sounded decent and, upon arrival, looked clean and tidy. The receptionist was very nice and allowed us to see a room. At about $34 USD, with lights, Internet, and hot water, we were relieved to have a decent spot to spend the night. The room, while basic and in need of some updating, had two double beds, which, weirdly, were made up with fitted sheets and blankets, but no top sheets. The receptionist was kind enough to go find us a couple. The LED lighting was adequate. There was a complementary bottle of water. We slept well and, in the morning, I opened the sliding glass door curtain, which made the room sunny and bright. Some maintenance that has been deferred would benefit this property. For example, when my husband was shaving, he suddenly noticed water gushing from underneath the sink and spilling out onto the floor. Looking for the source of the problem, he saw that a pipe under the sink had come apart! Pros: easy to find, conveniently located with a Burger King and convenience store very close by, modern exterior, pleasant lobby with complementary coffee and snacks for purchase, helpful staff, clean and bright hallway, good Wi-Fi, nice pool area, good value for the price, excellent Covid protocols. In an area with limited choices, if you're passing through and need a place to lay your head, you can feel comfortable staying here for a night. Note: our room faced the adjacent gas station and, although we weren't bothered by noise throughout the night, light sleepers might want to request a room facing the pool area.

Confortable, nicely decorated bedrooms, with A/C, flat TV screens, minifrigobar, Sky Channels, big swimming pool, gym. We have two suites with stove, refrigerator, kitchen tools, King size bed. Near the main market and behind the Mega supermarket.
Arrived in Campeche Airport at 9pm on a typical steamy hot night. Had to wait quite a while for a taxi (fixed price $200 pesos). The driver knew exactly where to go, and took me directly to the hotel. The hotel has security gates as it is in a residential area. The concierge was took me straight up to the top floor to the King room I had booked. It was very spacious, beautiful tiles, nice fresh bathroom, flat screen TV, desk, chairs and a mini fridge. The best part was the brand new huge comfortable Sealy bed, which was like sleeping in a cloud. Everything was spotless, and the air conditioning worked well, which is good as Campeche is so humid! Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, it was by the pool area. The walled city is about a 10-15 minute walk along the dusty streets, but it wasn't a big deal to me. It was a trade off to have a large and lovely room a little away from town, compared to having a dusty, overpriced poky room within the walls. Limited restaurants nearby, but a large supermarket and small grocers. I would stay again.
