Disappointing and very stressful
Reviewed By Alison HThis B&B was not only extremely difficult to find, but also depended upon guests being able to telephone the proprietor on arrival. It is in a commercial building with a car showroom on the ground floor. If the showroom had not been open, we would not have found it at all because the only indication that a B&B exists is its name in tiny print on the multiple doorbells. At 5 p.m. the street was absolutely jammed with traffic – both moving and parked. To add to the stress, it was in a tow-away zone. Two phone numbers are provided beside the doorbell but my 02 Roaming mobile could not make contact at all. We never managed to reach the proprietor and had to drive on to look for another B&B.

Reviewed By ell-doritoMar Tirreno was absolutely amazing! My mum and I got a real authentic experience of the lifestyle, culture and amazing food of Sicilia. The family were all very lovely and welcoming and provided a great bed and bathroom facility as well as home cooked organic and traditional Italian food. Additionally, this bnb goes above and beyond with its beautiful garden out the back filled with vibrant plants and flowers. Guests can also chose to eat out here for meals or just sit out and enjoy the tranquil scene. Parking on site is also available for those with cars or rentals. Mar Tirreno caters for everything. The whole family embraced us Australians into their life, home and family for a truly unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back. Cannot give a higher recommendation.

Lovely place to sit by the pool and spend time in total quietness and contemplate the beauty of traditional Sicily. The host was very friendly and ready to help and this is where we learnt that colazione means breakfast in Italian :)) We had a very enjoyable stay! Mille grazie!

Reviewed By Weronika DYou know, its not that bad..but I still don't like it. Its poor, dirty, windy, cold and bad. Of course I talk about residence. The rainshower is dirty and it has mushroom on it. We sink everyday. The breakfast are good, but...the lunch was gross. I saw a spaghetti and I got exited, but when I tasted it I almost puked. People are nice.
