Reviewed By Babi06072015When you checkin, you will be greeted by the owner of the Hotel. He is a wonderful person and he has been a great photographer. The view from the rooms is mesmerising. They will provide everything a person needs. They even have a library, if a person wishes to read the books. Good and hygienic food, is all what a family wants. They even provide hot rotis and puris and other things as in home. The owner eats with the guests. Overall wonderful experience and thanks to BURANSH.

Right from the booking, check in, checkout and others ,everything is pathetic.Moreover there is no one to listen you. Toatalky unhygienic place, dining hall.Broken furniture smelly rooms. Food served has no variety no taste,served in chipped n unhygienic cutlery. There is no WiFi, they only takes cash to settle the bills and not giving you the receipt. Neither there Delhioffice is willing to help in this case. SIMPLY PATHETIC ONLY SAVING GRACE US VIEW . AVOID THIS AT ANY COST IF YOU ARE CONCERN FOR YOUR HEALTH. I have never seen this type of unprofessional attitude and unhygienic hotel.

Reviewed By Bapi51I stayed this 3* hotel with my family and friends with Suniti Tour package group on 18th of March 2021 for 2 night stay, we were welcomed by the GM Mr.Kapil with welcome drinks and we were offered room number 101, 102 & 103 on the top floor with full view of Himalaya snow cape peaks, all the rooms has personal balcony with sitting arrangement, the beds were cozy, hygenic toilets with geyser fitting, all rooms have LCD TV, we had all the meals in thier resturant, they have good variety of north Indian meals Veg/ Non-Veg, the roof top of the hotel is excellent for photography, the hotel is located in quite and calm place.Hotel has parking area, the price were reasonable for family stay, the hotel staff were helpful to carry our luggage and service was prompt. I highly recommended to stay for nature lover to stay here...

We all enjoyed the behavior of the hotel owner(Mr joshi), manager (Suman) and the staff. The service of the hotel is excellent. The food is also very good. The hotel is also beautiful. There is also a lot of cleanliness in the hotel. Everyone's first choice should be this hotel. We hope that Joshi, the owner of the hotel, will maintain this quality.

Reviewed By PMV_13Eco Lodge Kausani is one of the resorts in a chain built up by Chevron group in Uttrakhand. The promotional tag line for Eco Lodge is that it has been built keeping in mind the least interference and damage to the environment. The building is constructed of local slate and flat rocks using mud as binding material with mud plaster. Use of mortar or cement has been minimal or not at all. They have tried as much as possible to faithfully follow the Koti Banal type of architecture used in Uttrakhand. The lodge looks like many houses in Kausani and surrounding rural areas. This style is included even for what serves as a dining hall which looks like a roadside shack open on three sides. Fortunately, bathrooms have modern facilities. Even the electrical switches are also from an era long past and not to be seen anymore in contemporary houses. Light posts have an independent solar panel. The location of Eco Lodge is excellent with a panoramic view of the Himalayan Ranges with Nanda Ghunti and Trishul peaks clearly visible. This happens only if there are no clouds, no haze or smog. This is a big "IF" as in our two-night stay we had a really good and clear view of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul peaks only on the last day as we were checking out. Other times the peaks looked hazy and taking clear photos was not possible. The grounds and lawns are very well maintained. Plenty of flowering, medicinal and exotic plants. One can take away saplings for their own gardens. After staying there I feel that they have gone overboard with local architectural style. We were given room number 103. I found that the room was quite dark. there was no natural light. The room appeared dam and musty. No cross ventilation. I did not like it luckily there were other rooms available and I opted for, I think room 102 which was slightly better. The staff was helpful and courteous. The food was nice. Positives for Eco Lodge, Location, Staff, the grounds and food. A big negative, the rooms on the ground floor are dark without natural light, stuffy and dampish.No comments about first floor rooms or duplex as did not have a look at them.
