Wine tasting & tour, amazing setting and super friendly staff Charming and rustic family winery with super vistas of vineyards. The wine tastings were a generous pour and pairing with some local salumi and cheese. Fresh pastry in closing. We were very well received by the owner' s son, informative and cheerful and tasted: Barbaresco Canova 2013, my favorite, raspberry nose, firmness of the tannins. Lovely orange zest finish; Barbera d'Asti Superior 2015, red fruit, medium toast oak barrels and a super extra brut 2015 Alta Langa bread crust and dried fruit scents, well-balanced. Truly a delightful stop.. don't forget to stock up on wine

One of the most pleasant experiences. The grounds were impeccable. The hospitality second to none. The Entire personality of Tenuta San Mauro Was inviting knowledgable and warm. One of my favorite vineyards in Piedmont. Producing wines of outstanding quality. I will return for harvest 2020

This stage of the Gastronomic Paths will make you discover the beauties of authentic Piedmont, through breathtaking views and panoramas, dotted with vineyards, hills, woods and hazel groves! The wine experience that we had hoped for! My wife and I contacted Langa Wine Tours to arrange a wine tour in Piemonte. Marco was very helpful with the arrangement and with accommodation recommendations. We ended up staying at his winery, which is such a beautiful place overlooking the vines and hazelnut trees. For the wine tour we visited three wineries, including Marco’s, and had a great lunch in Barbaresco. All the wineries were well chosen and the quality was very high. Marco is very knowledgeable about wine from Piemonte and we learned so much about wines from the region, on top of that he's a fantastic host and an all around awesome person! We would highly recommend a tour with Marco to anyone visiting this beautiful area in Piemonte.
