There were not so many tables taken when we visited, so the restaurant lacked atmosphere. But, the food was excellent, esp. the pasta dishes. The service was very professional and personal. There were some nice touches, such as the homemade plate of biscuits with coffee. Itâs a nice restaurant, good food and service and the price point is expensive from a British point of view but comparable with the main hill town restaurants in that area.

The old nursery school in Coazzolo has been attentively refurbished to flourish once more as an appealing, stylish osteria with rooms that create a unique, welcoming ambience. The cuisine is inspired by Piedmontese tradition, reworked with creativity and
Unique setting- the view from the terrace is amazing-snow capped mountains as a backdrop for rolling hills and hilltop village. the restaurant inside is also quite quaint, looking like an old house rather than some anonymous building. The food did not match the setting. Nothing was really bad but far from memorable. The ravioli were on the side of being overcooked, the lamb was dry. Recommended if you want to spend a nice lunch on the terrace but not if you have only a few meals to catch in the region and wish to get a taste of the amazing food around.

We have been eating here for some years now and have always found the food, wine and service to be first class. Warm friendly atmosphere prevails. Dishes are superbly prepared and cooked by Chef Deborah Cannistraro. I just know that you will not be disappointed should you choose to eat here. A menu and wine list to suit all pockets and palates.Nothing is to much trouble for the staff, always ready to help. We look forward to our next visit.

Beautifully presented Piemontese cucina. The menu degustazione is just â¬25 and the service friendly & impeccable. 2 antipasti, primo, secondo, dolce, café & water and the house wine just â¬9. Another inexpensive place to add to my list of favourites. Unfortunately as it was dark we were unable to see the views but a lunch or summer visit beckons.

We had a delightful meal at Wine Story. Itâs truffle season and, having tasted them earlier in the week, at a modest little lunch spot, at a modest price, we were very keen to sample some more. This time the waiter brought a basket of deliciously stinky white truffles to choose from. Our chosen truffle was weighed, and a price per gramme quoted. Did we work it out? No. Truffle was ceremoniously grated over all our food. Delicious! When the bill came, the price for the truffle, scribbled in pencil on a piece of paper, came to 95 euros. Dearie me. At first we thought weâd been taken for a ride. But other guests at our B&B told of a 195 euro truffle, seen at a local restaurant earlier in the week. Truffles are apparently like diamonds - the bigger ones command higher prices! An experience and a half . But one that will break the bank if repeated soon. Service was excellent and the restaurant went to some trouble to accommodate dietary requirements.

My pizza and Picky Partner's mixed grill were the largest serves we have ever had! We could only get through half and the kind staff packed the rest for us to take home. My pizza also had the most topping I have ever had. Overall, great - and generous - food, kind wait staff and great value. Definitely recommend and we would be happy to return.
