Wonderful piece of cake and a really good cup of tea sat in the sunshine. Had pistachio and lemon cake delicious. Then went in the gallery next door. Some beautiful gifts for sale, unusual and reasonably priced. Lovely lady serving us. Very helpful. Bought my friends 70th birthday present and it's not until December. There was an amazing sea glass garland I would have loved. But my husband didn't take the hint. The sun shone lovely day out

If your in or around Silverdale, 'Woody's' is a must. Real ales are the specialty here, with local brewed ales from the Old School Brewery and guest ales, an excellent cheap pint, which is almost £1 cheaper than any pub nearby, set in a lovely old country house, with beautiful views across Silverdale and Morecambe bay. Visit in October for the renowned real ale festival (and cider) and you'll want to come back again and again. Lovely people, staff and clientele alike, there's always a new friend to be made here. Keep it up Woody's. Dogs welcome too!
