Tin Shed Experience is a second hand tin sheeted museum housing a collection of items from 1914-45 and wartime items including some film memorabilia and props. We have an Anderson Shelter and a 1930's work-mans cottage. Over the years we have developed links with historical film and television productions such as 'Band of Brothers' and 'Saving Private Ryan'. We are also a quirky semi outdoor / undercover area for events. We are currently closed. Beautiful place on the coast 12 miles from Carmarthen . A must for all fans of Welsh literary genius Dylan Thomas. The boathouse is a fantastic tribute to the man full of pictures memorabilia and handwritten letters from Dylan there is also a fantastic documentary about his life. The boathouse and writing shed are a short walk from the stunning castle.His grave iis in St Martins Church as you enter the town and you must visit Browns Hotel Dylan’s favourite pub

What a fantastic church and graveyard , i could have spent a day reading some of those tombstones , From the return of the Battle of Waterloo to some quite sad family tragedies and of course the very unassuming resting place of Dylan Thomas .

Beautiful view, with DT information along the route. Benches along the whole route, some step inclines & steps, so not ideal for people with walking difficulty.
