Sunset International Speedway with its geographic location being forty minutes from Toronto, the closest motorsports facility to race fans everywhere. Since it’s birth in 1968, Sunset Speedway has produced some of Canada’s top stock car racers. New ownership purchased Sunset Speedway in May 2009. Significant funds to upgrade the facility were invested, and at season end in 2009, the existing track asphalt was ground out, walls were removed and the track has been resurfaced and is now a 1/3 mile high banked oval – a track we consider to be the best in the Country.
Great atmosphere, safe environment but hearing protection highly recommend. All the food is very reasonably priced and if you are a race fan you won't be disappointed . Home of Canadian NASCAR Whelen series

We were just driving past when we found this little gem. It has to be the best antique shop I have ever been in. There are items of interest for absolutely everyone. We will return when we actually plan on it so we will have some cash with us.

Rated one of the top courses in the GTA by Ontario Golf magazine, Silver Lakes is a four-star championship golf course carved from mature forest and rolling countryside around the meandering Holland River. Its manicured greens and bent-grass fairways are ideal for golfers of all levels. Silver Lakes is one of only a few golf courses offering an Aqua Range, a seven-acre facility combining great training with a unique golf experience. Outstanding practice facilities include two putting greens, chipping green and practice bunkers. Neighboring wetlands are a big part of the course with water and wetlands coming into play on 12 holes. Silver Lakes is as beautiful as it is demanding. It is a public facility that offers private country club conditions, available to all who wish to enjoy its natural beauty, challenge, and wonderful cuisine.
Got an invitation to play this course from a friend and accepted despite the drive from Whitby (1 hour 15 minutes). I found the course in great condition, it was a pleasant fair setup with good staff, greeters, pro shop personnel and beverage cart staffers. We compelted our 18 holes in 3 hours 35 minutes and werent held up nor did we hold anyone up ourselves. All in all good value for the dollar!

There are several Beaches within the park offering lots of shallow near-shore areas for wadding and deeper water for swimming. My experiences with cleanliness and general maintenance of the area has always been positive. The view over Lake Simcoe is very pretty with several large Islands being prominent on the horizon. The park is very popular in summer both with locals and people from out of town, fortunately lots of picnic space is available. Parking can be an issue during peek months, there are also fees charged for cars.

Orchard Beach always confuses me..... it's like superb 80% of the time and absolutely sucks 20%? Same it's the staff? Maybe that's the way most places are? I usually absolutely love their food, but very occasionally the same thing sucks! Excellent food choices are: beef dip, fajitas, and Hamburgers. Fries are great and so is Greek Salad! I hosted a 40th there once too and it was a major hit!! Staff were amazing and helped, especially the chef!

With well over 115 dealers, those browsing the mall will find millions of items ranging in price from as little as a dollar to thousands of dollars, sold by vendors from 14 years of age to 80. The wide spacious isles and wide entrance doors make the mall accessible to the handicapped, in wheels chairs or walkers. Closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and all holidays
Perfect day for a treasure hunt found exactly What I was looking for and more at great prices they had lots of booths at 20 or 25 percent off loots if variety worth the drive and big enough and small enough to finish within 1 hour or so will be back for sure

Parked in this park briefly as I was in the area on business. Since I waited in the car I didn't have to pay for parking. Besides public washrooms, it offers places to eat a picnic lunch, playground for children and lot's of grassy area for soccer or baseball. Great view of the lake as well. Told by a local residence this park in the summer .time is very popular and busy with out of town visitors to the area.
