Agua Hedionda

Reviewed By Tony G - San Antonio, Texas

Agua Hedionda is for people that enjoy therapeutic waters. There is an opening from which the water comes into the large pool area which makes your skin tingle. Your hair ends up feeling squeaky clean after you finish swimming. Agua Hedionda is an older facility so don't expect to have brand new amenities. People come here for the waters and the family atmosphere. Weekdays are much less crowded. If you don't like crowds avoid three day holidays.

Ex Convento Santo Domingo de Guzman

We attended a wedding held at this convent and it was very, very beautiful. The former Convent was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in the 90´s and it´s one of the best kept Convents from the area. The mural paintings are very beautiful. One of the chapels hosts a small museum and there are informative panflets available.
Regarding the shoes, please be advised that cobblestones are everywhere: the stairs, the entrance, the side entrance, all access is cobblestones. The cloister is safe for your ankles, but getting there will be tricky.

Balnearo Ejidal El Bosque

Reviewed By MASANTOSL - Mexico City, Mexico

I was this summer at the Park with another friend. We are both over 30 and weren't expecting much of the slides and overall park. We arrived early in the morning and had most of the attractions for ourselves. We tried every slide and the lazy river, even the kids area was fun. Try to come during the week or early morning as the afternoon approached there was more and more people in the park. The volcano Popocatepetl had plenty of snow, which was really nice view , as it was super hot and we were enjoying a summer day.
