The beach is beautiful & clean & at certain times of the day you will be the only one on it, the steps on the way back could be a little tiring for some but overall it's great!

Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth)

Wow, such a long, wide and wild-if-windy beach. Perfect for a gentle stroll, or blowing off the cobwebs, depending on the weather. You get a real sense of isolation here, with not that many fellow walkers, (midweek/October). It's well signposted on the local road, with a small car park. Then around 5mins walk along a sandy path through the dunes... And then - the view! We enjoyed reading the various signs, learning a little of the beach's history and wildlife. (The more signs and info the better methinks. History and wildlife very important, as well as giving areas like these context.) We loved it here, spending a very happy hour, walking part of this huge beach. Oh that we had more time to cover it all...no matter, we'll return someday.

I experienced yet another wonderful spa experience yesterday. I had a manicure and pedicure both with a gel finish. I can honestly say that my fingers and toes look lovely. The treatments were most enjoyable . The delightful Caitlin is so friendly yet professional. All the staff are welcoming and the ambience of the spa was restful and relaxing.

Machroes Beach

This is the other end of the Abersoch beach with access down a winding country lane, boat launching facilities are available and there is a toilet block in the small car park. Mickeys boatyard cafe is a great place to grab some good food at reasonable prices as well. Our favourite end of the beach!

Flat beach with beautiful views. We visited when it was raining but it was still beautiful. Looks like the tide comes in high though. Easy access from town.

Small beach, just opposite the boatyard, best used at low tide as there is not much beach at high tide.
