I had a marvelous and extremely fruitful two days researching at the Mellon Centre for Migration Studies --- and it wouldn't have been successful without the help of Christine and Sarah, librarians and archivists (hope those are the right words!) at the Centre. They went out of their way to help me find books, articles, newspapers and more that matched my queries. I can't thank them enough for their help! The Centre is fantastic. So grateful.

Lissan House

Myself and my nephew visited Lissan House yesterday. Only wish we had visited it sooner. Beautiful house and beautiful walks. We hope to go visit it soon again for a tour inside the house when it re opens. So much history here and loads of space for a picnic. I can't figure out how some people would complain and leave bad reviews about this place, it was wonderful.
