Gray Beef, Bad Pillows, and Moldy Room with a Leaking Toilette
Reviewed By mega497Lets start with a positive. The staff was friendly. Everything else was very average at best. The construction is LOUD. The food is horrific with absolutely zero variety. After 4 days I was so excited to leave because the food was so bad. How do you run out of guacamole for days? The drinks were not good either. The room smelled like mold. The toilette leaked all over the floor the entire week. Pillows were THE WORST! Only one restaurant for dinner. The 24 hour pantry was basically empty, only a few left over pastries from breakfast. With water bottles not available on several occasions. The pool had about 12 total seats, so if you didn't arrive first thing there was no available seating. There are signs you need to wear a mask in public areas it was never enforced, then on the last day there was a Manager from Marriott visiting the resort and all the sudden masks were mandatory which really gave the wrong impression. For being a Marriott branded hotel, it really was surprisingly disappointing.

Reviewed By alan cWe stayed in a three bedroom penthouse apartment recently. The resort is large and spacious, there’s a shuttle bus to and from the reception area, takes about 4 minutes but you can walk down to the beach club area. There are beach towels available from the beach club reception. The pools there are lovely and warm and the beach is adjacent and is clean and shelves gently into the warm sea. The main negative is the dreadful loud incessant awful music that the DJ blasts out constantly The beach club serves a nice breakfast and once that is complete the staff then come to your sun bed to take your orders for drinks and snacks. The lunch menu and food is much better than the supper menu. All the staff expect a tip when serving you either in the restaurant or by the pool. There’s another pool nearer the reception area and this is similar in size to the beach club ones but far quieter but no service from the bar The main restaurant is near the main reception area and there’s also another smaller pool there as well The menu is varied and the food on the whole is acceptable. You have to scan the QR codes to see what’s on offer. The main complaint is the total lack of any ordering system. Some days we gave our order and waited up to an hour even for a drink never mind your food order, staff seemed to be busy but doing what we weren’t sure. Another oddity is if you order your starter and main course at same time they are brought out together. I think because we were the only English speaking guests there and very few staff speak English we did find ordering the food difficult The apartment was large with a huge kitchen and dining area however there wasn’t even a spoon never mind a plate!! When the apartment was serviced and used towels taken away I had to keep going to reception to ask for clean ones There wasn’t a safe and unfortunately my wife had two rings taken from our wardrobe It would be nice for the children if there were slides into the pools and also ice cream as at other all inclusive resorts the latter was always available Just a word of advice is don’t lose your immigration form like I did, caused me issues at airport on departure Enjoy the holidays

La Cruz Inn is centrally located in downtown La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, one of Mexico's quality resort towns and fishing villages in this area. This convenient location means you are very close to any of the many activities featured in this area. The Riviera Nayarit Marina is withing steps, swimming beach and beach club a two minute walk. We have a restaurant, bar and rooftop restaurant onsite with great regional and international dishes. There is a pool onsite alongside a lounging area. Four of our rooms offer full outdoor (covered) kitchens. Two units have partial kitchens on the top floor. Two new units ground floor are queen bed hotel rooms (no kitchen) All units have fans and air conditioning. We have a restaurant open daily from 8am to 9pm serving Mexican cuisine along with international and comfort food!

Reviewed By topcatdocNice place and nice staff but beware the sales program. Full of false promises. We lost a fortune on it. Never once marketed for us. Emails and calls ignored after we got home and US Embassy cannot help us seeking justice. Our contract is being ignored by the resort.

Beautiful Property
Reviewed By sgordon2018Stayed here for 5 nights on our recent stay in La Cruz. Had the amazing "Patron" suite which had an incredible outdoor lounge, kitchen, and deck with a beautiful view of the town and the Bay. Infinity Pool was great to take a dip to cool off. Breakfasts were ample and tasty with fruit, coffee, juice, toast and eggs made to order. Could not find fault with the service whether for breakfast or cleanliness of the grounds and our room. Wifi was good in the suite and around the property. Walking into town takes about 10 minutes and about 20 minutes to get to the marina. Most challenging is the hill to get up and down but worth the effort. Would highly recommend this B & B as an alternative and more real "Mexican feel" to the busy resorts of this area.

Bathed by the sun, this tropical paradise covers an entire block and is only 100 yards from the Pacific Ocean. Here you will enjoy the tranquility of a private garden full of tropical fruit trees and flowers while waves break on the beach in the distance. A beautiful Villa, with swimming pool, tennis court and jacuzzi set into a tropical fruit and flower garden which covers an entire block. Depending on the season, you can harvest your own coconuts, limes, grapefruit, mangoes, bananas and starfruit.

Reviewed By Barbara OThe grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We couldn't use the spa as it was being worked on. The pool is hard to get out of as there are no steps, just a ladder. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was within walking distance of many restaurants, which all were very good. WiFi was only available in the main house, but it was not inconvenient. Just a short walk from my room to the main house. The staff was very friendly and was there to please!
