Fantastic Stylish Boutique Guesthouse

Warm and friendly staff with lovely stylish touches around the house and room. Great quality bed linen ( I’m super fussy) and everything was clean and cared for. Our only extra star would be for a traditional Scottish breakfast but what was offered was still luxury continental. Keep up the great standard!

Our room overlooked Loch Dunvegan, with garden birds feeding outside the window. The room itself was a good size, clean, and well equipped. Whilst it was satisfactory for us, being quite plain, some might find it a little too basic. Continental breakfast was served on a tea trolley to be enjoyed at the breakfast table within your room.

Cosy, welcoming and attention to detail

We enjoyed a wonderful three night stay with Nicky and Ian. The location just outside Dunvegan is very accessbile to many attractions nearby: Neist Point, Coral beach, Macleod's Maidens as well as those a little further afield. The two guest rooms are at the back of the building with wonderful views over to the estuary and the sea. It is quiet, peaceful with a lovely garden surrounding the house. There is a sitting room with sofas, TV, books and games for guests use. The house is spotless and the rooms are cosy with a large comfortable bed, quality linen, towels and dressing gowns. Complimentary drams of whisky and fruit shortbread were a lovely touch. There are plenty of toiletries to pamper with after a tiring day, including face masks and body lotions. Breakfast is in the attractive dining area with views out on two sides. Freshly squeezed fruit juices, all the cooked options and home-made toast and fruit toast are an excellent start to the day. There was a huge range of caffeine free teas as an additional bonus. Ian can advise on the best use of time given weather conditions to see the attractions of the area as well as logistics like parking etc and when to avoid the crowds. This has a real home from home feel and made a wonderful stay for our first few nights on the island. Thank you both so much.

An average old-fashioned stay

Reviewed By Escape66617

We chose this B&B due to proximity to Dunvegan castle and Neist Point Lighthouse after coming in from the south via ferry. There is parking for all guests both in front of the B&B and in a lot across the street. The decor is old-fashioned, but the rooms are cozy and functional. However, the mattress was extremely soft which gave us back pains. The hot water in the tub/shower was good. The traditional breakfast was satisfactory, as were the whisky jams that are available for sale. A fair price for a good location, but wish the rooms had some improvements.

We spent one night in the ground floor bedroom which was lovely. The bathroom was very large and we particularly appreciated the good shower pressure. The shared areas are beautifully decorated and spacious. We had dinner at the Old School House which was most enjoyable. Angie was very friendly and welcoming. Can highly recommend.

Great Camping Pods

Reviewed By Kamaldeep_Singh

We only spent a night there and requested for exceptional booking which the site owners agreed. Thanks for that. We had a bit of bad luck with weather in Fortwilliam and Isle of Skye treated us well for 36 hrs we were in Isle of Skye. The pod was immaculate. Had all basics for cooking - Salt, pepper, oil - all utensils and pot and pan for electric camping single ring cooker. PS: I could have left dishes nicely cleaned if there was scourer, then just rubbing with hands/Lemon :) Onsite parking was good The area is very peaceful and serene and there are 2 takeaways close by less than 5 min walk. Nearby Sites - Coral Beach - 1.5 hr return hike -we spotted seals , Dunvegan Castle If I was staying for longer, I'd say its slightly expensive - but hey its Isle of Skye - that's overall rate band

Beautiful location at the head of the loch but within a few minutes walk to Dunvegan restaurants. Rooms and bathrooms very high standard and the property is lovely but what really makes this place exceptional is Ann and Greg. Lovely friendly hosts, the breakfast was delicious and the smell of freshly baked cake and coffee when you return from a busy day enjoying the natural beauty of Skye was just too tempting! Our springer spaniel was welcomed and loved the garden. If you’re staying on Skye, stay here, you won’t be disappointed!
