Theta Hotel is a place of relaxation, offering visitors the splendors of Pelion with high quality service, spacious accommodation and that discreet welcome the discerning visitor seeks.Built with traditional Pelion architectural influences, the Theta Hotel is perfectly in tune with its natural surroundings, exuding an atmosphere of understated luxury.The hotel comprises of two three-story buildings with nineteen rooms. The ground floor of the central building has the breakfast room, the hotel lounge with its huge fireplace and the hotel bar. Guests can relax inside in cold weather with a hot drink or enjoy the vista on the veranda with the cold mountain water. You can enjoy light snacks or homemade Greek treats.
A bit disappointing after the hype

The staff of Theta are all charming and the building is finished to a high standard and very clean. But that is it! The walls inside are a drab brown, there is no art on the walls or apparent attempt to make it homely. It feels just very clinical. Even a few plants on the terrace would soften it. Also bfast is pretty dire with a diluted Orange cordial on offer for orange juice and the rest of the fayre on the budget side.The espresso coffee an extra. So yes with a bit of work this really could be an “excellent” hotel but at the moment we felt it was objectively good . The views and location are perfect however.

Definitely recommend this place and we will visit again for sure! Who wouldn’t love eating his breakfast and drinking his coffee in the morning with that view :)

Reviewed By Jerkoha small house with only 4 rooms.lovely people will advice you , help you and will do a lot to make you feel well. very domestic , clean and warm. have a lot of fruite trees , make gem and liquer- all free . very good place to go to beach or walking in the nature. superb area for motorcycles.

Reviewed By Annie DBest food and hospitality! The food is great the service is the best. You could enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace facing both the endless green of the mountain and the blue of the sea. Everyday you could have a different taste of the homemade Greek food. Enjoy!

An amazing family hotel in Pilion
Reviewed By VLevanonWe stayed for 5 nights at the Elda hotel, run by Thano and his amazing mother Helena. Located on the east side of Polio, this is a wonderful quiet traditional hotel. With a spectacular view of the sea, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this is a perfect place for a vacation in the area. Thano is an amazing host, very knowledgeable about where to go, what to do in the area and the good places to eat. He will help you tailor your holiday and he will do it professionally. We enjoyed our stay at this special Archontiko immensely!

Comfortable stay with a superb view
Reviewed By kostamWe had a great time here. You will need a car for this location but everything else is great. The hosts treated us great giving us fruit and vegetables every day. Great wifi. But the view, especially from rooms 4 & 7, is worth the money itself. Highly recommended.
