Amazing place to sit, sip coffee and smell the flowers. My friend took me here for the first time 10 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit since. (In all the right meaning of the word.)

Lokrum Island Botanical Gardens

We enjoyed our walk around the botanical gardens to see where scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed and also enjoyed spending time in the tranquil gardens with the animals and plants. The only sound we could here was bird song coming from the trees. A lovely peaceful location away from the busy Old Town. Also 390kn for 2 people was a good price for the return ferry to the island as you could spend the day here seeing all the sights, having a picnic, going for a swim and lots more. I dont understand how people found that expensive for a day out. Your day out is what YOU make of it.
