We have been to this place a few times and the craft ale selection has been outstanding from day one! Really superb selection and Varanasi on week on week. To add to this the food menu kicked in for 2020 and what can we say - we are addicted. Tasty, well spiced, cooked to your taste with added spice - if requested. Jimmy and his staff have done a great job and even better they listen to customer feedback and suggestions. Always feel welcome here and the owner has time to chat and mingle. Lovely place to visit.. so much to explore in the mill with shops, galleries , cafe and David Hockney pictures on the top floor.

Situated close to Bradford & Leeds for transport yet another world away, this is a great place for views, walking & fresh air. See the historical bell pits where coal was mined many years ago. Transport is available to Baildon village Baildon Lucy Hall or Eldwick Beck Bottom or for a longer walk, take the train to Saltaire and enjoy Roberts Park, Saltaire village and at weekends have a ride on the Shipley Glen famous tramway. The Old Glen public house and the Glen tearooms are nearby for refreshments and toilets

Ticks every box of what a traditional pub should be like. A tap room and a lounge, great selection of drinks at very reasonable prices, fantastic landlady and landlord, polite, attentive staff, a warm and friendly group of regulars, dog friendly, a great quiz (when Covid’s not in town) and they’ve even managed to create a great beer garden at the rear during the Covid crisis. Well done ????
