We saw the Sarasota Jazz Band. They were great. Played all the big band favorites I grew up with. I felt so bad because there were less than 30 people in the audience. Tickets were so reasonable only $20. They need to advertise more. Great programs and talent. We had a fun evening. Get on-line and check out their programs. I am definitely going to take a group there again.

I went in to replace my husband’s bike, and ended up purchasing an electric bike for both of us. The owner is very knowledgeable, and she spent so much time showing us the many types of bikes. These bikes are amazing and have opened up a whole new experience for us! Great service and support as well!

Kiwanis Park

Reviewed By kasb2013 - Port Charlotte, United States

Having been ill for awhile, I haven't been going out much.I wanted to find a nice place to walk and my brother suggested this park. I am glad he did. There is a play area when you first go in, but if you go over the bridge, there is a lake and some picnic areas. There lots of ibis, which are quite tame to feed and a few breeds of ducks.Lots of wildlife also. On one visit, I saw a baby owl in one of the trees which was wonderful to see! There are walking trails also, and a few of them have exercise equipment along the way. The park has been well maintained, keeping the natural beauty of the woods. I find it relaxing to take a lunch and sit at one of the covered picnic tables and enjoy the scene. I hope this park will always remain here.

Port Charlotte Mall

Reviewed By rckadeth

I walk 3 miles every day inside this mall. It's a pleasant mall with a decent food court. The problem is that there are a lot of empty businesses. Of the 6 anchor positions, Sears is gone, Macy's is in the process of closing, and Regal Cinema has been closed since July 2020. There are at least twenty (1 and 2 units) that are empty. One of their only two sit down restaurants, Ruby Tuesday, closed in August. Starbucks left this past Wednesday. The place has potential but really needs new owners and a major do over to give it life again.
