We have been to Pioneer Pizza twice. Both times the pizza was yum (even though we are from "out West", we like their pizza. One must arrive early, bc they get packed out pretty quick even though they recently expanded. They have a nice menu from Stromboli, salads, sandwiches and pizza. Their staff harmoniously work together and compliment one another. I have not seen one person standing around, and all are courteous and well trained. It is pretty impressive. Well worth the wait.

First time going to Visani so can't compare to previous owners but there is definitely room for improvement. Headliner comedian was great, opening comedian not so good.
The tables are a little to close and your constantly getting banged into by servers trying to squeeze by. Our food came out pretty fast and server was very attentive all night. The food was ok but most of our entrees were not very hot. The ziti noodles were very mushy and not that good.We also ordered 3 sundaes for desert to share and nobody liked them. ( i don't know how you can ruin a sundae ) . Also a turn off is no salad with your meal. Extra charge. Also bring a flashlight to check your,bill we were charged an up charge for homemade pasta which nobody ordered. Overall a fun night out and Ok food just needs some improvements.

We had family down to visit from New England, and needed a nice dinner to welcome them in. Having been to Bella Napoli many times, we decided to take our guests there. Arriving after 8:00pm, we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, and ordered our drinks. My wife, daughter and son In law decided on pizza, and ordered an extra large with pepperoni, sausage, and ricotta cheese. I ordered the linguini with white clam sauce. This size pizza is huge, even for 3 people. It arrived timely and hot. My linguini was served with clams in the shell, which is new to me, but delicious none the less. Long story short, everyone enjoyed their meal, and we ended up staying well past closing time having a great family reunion. This restaurant is a true gem in Port Charlotte, so if you are looking for a great meal with a nice family atmosphere and reasonable prices, you will enjoy your visit immensely.

The theme of the restaurant is the New York Subway, they have subway signs, subway noise in the bathrooms, and subway artifacts throughout. They have a small bar in the back where you can get drinks if your table is not ready or if you just want to sit at the bar. We have been here two times in the past two weeks both times there were four of us and it twas on a Saturday night at about 7:00 PM. There was less than a 15 minute wait. Not bad for the time of year here in SW Florida.
The services and the food is both abundant and excellent. Eight meals in two weeks and all eight were great. This in now my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. (Sorry Bella Napoli). The food is served hot and the plates are full. The prices are very reasonable. One of the outstanding things about the food is the Italian bread they serve. I know it does not come from around here because the bread in SW Florida is horrible. They must make their own. The wait staff is attentive and they are not overworked with too many tables. In you need your waiter or waitress they are always available.
I highly recommend this place for great Italian food.

I started making reservations two days ahead of time and changed our reservation three times as more people decided to join our party. The person taking reservations was gracious and assured me it was no trouble to rearrange our table assignment. We all enjoyed cocktails while listening to Buffo play jazz on guitar. Everyone ordered something different but it was unanimous that every meal was excellent. Three of us at the table who were celebrating birthdays were treated to complimentary desserts. We went for the crème brûlée served with berries and whipped cream. Delicioso! Make a res! With great food and great entertainment, this place can get very busy.

i ordered their ribeye steak, was about the thinnest steak i've seen, the prime rib my partner got was thick but awfully fatty. i'll wait to see what people say b4 i go back again, been there before 3x, totally shocked, hope there not riding a reputation to the ground

Enjoyed a prime rib po boy and wife had half chicken platter. Way more than we could eat! Po boy was great. Chicken was good. Fries and onion pedals were delicious...Mac and cheese not so much. $23...not bad. We'll return. Lots of fun sauces!

A group of 6 were seated right away...service was very good . As a couple we ordered a medium pizza with 3toppings including chorizo. Our previous experiences have been that chorizo is spicier than pepperoni. The pizza arrived with literally bacon bit size pieces which one gets in a grocery store package,which probably amounted to 2-3slices of equivalent pepperoni slices. ...total waste of money and flavour Our other diners who happened to order pepperoni which were significant in the amount of full slices and quite spicy. I spoke to the manager about the issue ...pretty well lip service that the chorizo they are supplied is mild but no answer about the quantity....just shook my head and left.
