Otley is a market town and civil parish at a bridging point on the River Wharfe in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough in West Yorkshire, England. Historically a part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, the population was 13,668 at the 2011 census. It is in two portions: that south of the river includes the historic town of Otley; that north of the river is Newall, which was formerly a separate township. The town is in lower Wharfedale on the A660 which connects it to Leeds.

Went for a coffee at lunchtime and was made to feel so welcome by the friendly lady running the place. Really lovely experience in cool surroundings.

Was waiting for otley carnival and decided to go into the bowling green, weatherspoons pub and had a few drinks, busy as hell but we got served quickly and efficiently. Customer service was excellent, friendly, courteous staff. Thank you ????????

We enjoyed a lovely Friady night drink at the new Tap in Otley. Great beer. Neat layout after the refurb. Next time we will try the food from the Burger van in the beer garden (you can eat the food back in the pub).
