Very picturesque little village of Newton which is just outside the main Porthcawl area. 2 pubs, village green, and a pretty, little church! Pretty in Summer, very lovely covered in Winter's snow!

Bethania Welsh Baptist Chapel is a redundant Grade II* Listed as one of the best surviving architectural achievements by a major chapel architect in his powerful Beaux Arts style. The present Bethania chapel was a product of the last ‘Great Revival’ of 1904 and was constructed in 1908. It was designed in a Classical Beaux Arts style by the locally born architect Sir William Beddoe Rees.
