Visited Valras Plage when we were staying in Beziers; there is a very good bus service which runs between Beziers & Valras Plage daily and only costs one euro for a return journey! Whilst there is a lovely big beach at Valras the town itself was a little to 'rowdy' (??) for my liking. Would recommend it for families purely for the lovely beach

We had an excellent experience hiring bikes from Vélo Love. I initially made contact via email the morning after we arrived in Valras and following a swift email exchange with Stéphane we had agreed that two bikes would be delivered that afternoon to our camp site. The bikes were delivered on time and were in great condition. We didn't have any problems with them during our two week hire and Stéphane collected them from the site at the agreed time on our morning of departure. The service we received from Stéphane was perfect from start to finish. We will definitely be hiring bikes when we return next year. Merci Stéphane et à l'année prochaine!

Very pleasant father and son team. Segways available for hire at reasonable prices (30 minutes or an hour), you can go up and down the sea front and through the town if you want. Owners give you a full briefing beforehand and then offered to recommend us a local restaurant.

We visited this place after Reading about it on Tripadvisor. It was worth seeing for the sheer labour of love that the owners have demonstrated. The tableaux are impressive as are the Guiness Book of Records titles that they have. Good fun to while a way some time and to marvel at what can be built with bits of plastic if you put your mind to it.

Lors de notre passage à Hourtin, nous nous sommes rendus à cet endroit. Un petit parking se trouve à l'entrée. Des passerelles en bois sont aménagées dans une réserve naturelle. On se croirait dans la jungle, c'est une belle balade et rafraichissante quand il fait chaud. Un parcours pour enfants a également été aménagé. Pour petits et grands.
