Olcott Beach Carousel Park

If you have kids under 10 you must go here. We spent over an hour, rode each ride at least once and spent $5 total! All the rides are 25 cents. They are super nic, clean, and the staff is so sweet and helpful with all the little kids. Be sure to hit up the popcorn stand down the road before you head out of town. (Kids must be under 52 inches to do the rides) some vintage arcade games do take actual quarters, but you can get change at the ticket booth.

Schulze was the first stop on our wine trail. The building itself is large and nice, with a giant tasting bar in the center. Their "crackling" wines are carbonated, so if you're into drinking wine coolers, those will be good ones for you to try. Some of their sweeter wines were very good.

The owners of this mom & pop winery were on hand for our tasting & were so interesting & informative. Such a different experience than the rote pouring at many other wineries. They are passionate about what they do & want to share their experience with their clientele. We visited with two other couples & were escorted to their herb garden & were shown why they love what they do. I have been to many wine regions & this was, by far, the best tasting ever. Jim was an excellent host & they have made some great wine. The Cabernet Franc is excellent! Although it is a little off the beaten path, it is worth finding if you are truly interested in wine.

Victorianbourg Wine Estate

The ambiance seemed to be a conflict of interest. The outside was an attempt at a victorian garden with flowers and some statuary. The inside was under repair or construction. Plastic taped up, supplies disorganized and an overall unprepared feel. The name was the most Victorian aspect of this tasting room. Much needed for presentation. The wines were okay and not up to par with the Finger Lakes. Worth a stop on this trail, yes but set the expectations low.

Krull Park

this park is absolutely beautiful and offers SO much. No charge for great picnic areas and a LOT MORE (see earlier reviews for the list of them). Adjacent to the park are a couple of fine restaurants, several small interesting shops, an amusement park with some games and vintage kiddie rides and a boardwalk that overlooks the lake. I have not been down to the beach in many years, but it still looks good.

Today there was an event taking place (Old Olcott Days) which I attended for the first time. It was well attended and had a lot of extras offered, which are not available at other times. I strongly recommend a visit to this park especially for families

Black Willow Winery

This family owned winery is located on the south shore of Lake Ontario. We offer a Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, and Riesling along with our signature DePeche Meow and Black Widow Berry. In addition we have a fantastic line of Traditional Mead (honey wine). The beautiful tasting room is open every day, and may be rented for private events. Our famous Wine & Chocolate pairings are available with incredible Norman Love chocolates!

Reviewed By BergholzTimelord - Niagara Falls, NY

We visited Black Willow Winery as part of a complimentary wine tour that we received. The Winery is huge, modern, with a large parking lot. There is a lot of space in the tasting room, with a large tasting bar, but also a chocolate case, as well as racks selling their wine and mead as well as various gift and wine related items.

We did the wine and chocloate pairing, which allowed us to choose 5 chocloates from a list of chocolates that they carry, and they would pair 5 wines, one to match each chocolate. It was recommended that we try the wine alone first, then after eating the chocolate - which, did seem to compliment and bring out different flavors in the wine.

The place was very busy when we were there, but the staff tried really hard to be attentive.

We decided to purchase a bottle of port as well as a bottle of mead, along with some matching chocolate .

Looking forward to our next visit!
