I went on the King's Road on the way to Amman. I visited Shobak Castle. It is in Jorden not too far from Petra. It is very interesting Castle. In the middle of nowhere. The next city is Karak. Huge big Castle ruins very high up. Worth a visit. Peaceful and tranquil

Umm Qais Museum

Reviewed By Mihaela11 - Amman, Jordan

Less know than Petra and Jerash, Umm Qais is a hidden germ of history and ancient civilizations. The drive to Umm Qais is awesome and takes you to places you never imagined. The ruins are impressive and the guides are very professionals and friendly. The museum is well organized and the social distancing is a must in closed spaces. The view from the ruins is amazing: Palestine, the Golan Heights, the Sea of Galilee and Tiberias, the Yarmouk river gorge, Syria and Lebanon. It was a pleasant experience and a trip in history.

UMm Qays Archeological Site

Reviewed By halahattar89 - Amman, Jordan

it is a beautiful place to visit indeed, you'll get a glimpse of the history of that era by talking a hike all around. You can end your day at the restaurant (previously Romero) located on-site, with a beautiful view of the spectacular scenery and Golan Heights and Lake Tiberias. You'd wonder why I used this title for my review. Well, although Um Qays is an Archeological Site, and its ruins tell a beautiful story about a different period, but due to its location north of Jordan, the whole area is usually covered with green throughout the year, so when you get there, you'll feel the strength of the area surrounding you! you will get the perfect experience of nature and history combined.
