This is a must place to visit if your anyway interested in Aircraft, local aviation history. You can either spend hours reading of the fate and history behind many recovered crash site aircraft relics or spend an hour or two to look inside aircraft cockpits, see how pilots were trained in simulators or view some of the uk's most iconic aircraft that are on display. This is a place where the Volunteers are most helpful and knowledgeable. Take the time to visit even if for a short time and the entry wont break the bank! Dont let the memory of what the men and women of the services have done for us for so many years. Thanks Peter and crew for taking the time to speak to Joshua and myself. Rgds Duncan

This farm, converted to a nature reserve is a lovely place to get away from it all for a while. It has an old railway carriage which serves as a very cute tearoom and the home made cheese scone and carrot chutney were delicious. The cakes looked amazing but sadly I had no room left after the scone!! The family who own the woodland walks are clearly passionate and rightly proud of what they have achieved here and Alan gives a guided tour of the woodland and farmland walk around the site for first time visitors. Easy to find, good parking and dog friendly this was a really pleasant place to visit in the countryside if the Fens. Do take cash though as there is no card machine there at present.

This is a hidden gem in the centre of Wisbeach. The cafe is in a lovely courtyard together with the bookshop and is a very peaceful setting. The gardens are very well laid out with beautiful flower beds and orders, and the croquet lawn is a gem in the midst of the town. On the day of our visit a pianist was playing in the library , it was a wonderful experience. The house is very welcoming and has a wonderful atmosphere, well worth a visit.

Took the kids for an evening of bowling and what fun we had. There were strict COVID-19 measures in place, hand cleaning stations, table service to stop people moving around too much and one way systems. We had a great time as a family, it was really good to have a bit of “normality” in these strange times.
