This Norwegian tourist town is a magnet for outdoor adventurers, who flock each year for the Geiranger - From Fjord to Summit half-marathon and bike race. This World Heritage site is a popular stop-over for cruise ships. Don’t miss the awe-inspiring fjord and waterfalls, especially the Seven Sisters, the Suitor and the Bridal Veil.

This fjord is gorgeous, the narrowness of it with near sheer vertical snow capped mountains surrounding and cascading waterfalls makes it a picture perfect setting that is almost unbelievable. There are a few elevated viewing points that are ideal to make the most of the stunning scenery and capturing outstanding photos. A cruise on the fjord is well worthwhile to maximise the fjord in its entirety.

Beautiful experience. We started the hike at westerås gård! The view from vesterås mountain was amazing. It was a relatively easy hike (compared to storsæterfossen).o

I recommend one of the small boat tours to see it from all angles AND get up close. The small boat tours are cheaper and quicker if you want to do some hiking afterwards.

After a Geirangerfjord cruise you can drive south to reach Flydalajuvet. It has a tiny parking lot, so please be quick when you have taken some nice photos, so others also can park their car and enjoy the view as well. Flydalsjuvet wasn’t far from Geiranger. You can also walk to Flydalsjuvet from the Geiranger center and through the waterfall trail.

The boat tours will take you by all of the waterfalls in this fjord. This one is right across from the 7 Sisters.
