Reviewed By Pasquale CWe were two couples vacationing in Sicily and we spent two nights at l'Approdo. We truly enjoyed the experience. The staff was very helpful and the manager, Claudia, did an outstanding job to make sure we had good time. We highly recommend this hotel which is also strategically positioned to visit Trapani, Erice, San Vito lo Capoand other terrific place in western Sicily.

Reviewed By exploreandwonderThe first impression of the hotel as we parked was that it looked a bit jaded..an uplift to the outside needed. Reception was Ok and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. Walk in shower, view of the sea. It was fairly busy but only one wing was open. They had shut the pool for the season the for the season and worse to come as the outside bar was also shut! Despite the temperatures in the high twenties. Very disappointing. We never did find the inside bar. The restaurant was a bit soleless too, being very brightly lit...so bright the reflection in the windows prevented seeing the view across the sea. BUT...the food was fantastic! That was the saving grace, that and the delightful seafood bar just down the road. It was,a nice stay..close to Trapani and Erice. Lovely staff and everywhere in the hotel was so clean. They just need to make the restaurant cosier and subdue the lights...and keep the outside bar open as long as there are guests and sunshine! Just ignore the outside paintwork.

Reviewed By Irene MPleasant stay at Erice Mare. We had a large room with balcony and good air conditioning. Decent continental breakfast with fruits and pastries. It is about 10 min drive to Trapany town center and 10 minutes drive to Erice. Nothing super fancy but pretty good for the money. Cons: Bed spread had many spots and need to be changed. There was a little mold in the shower. If you use air conditioning there is a need for a blanket. Pros: Good location in a quite place. Big room. Good size bathroom.

A casa in un’oasi
Reviewed By laludixCasa nuova e arredata chiaramente con l’occhio di un architetto, che sarebbe poi la proprietaria Angela. Il giardino è quanto di più simile ad un’oasi, piante ben curate, prato verde, comode sdraio, vele bianche, ne abbiamo goduto anche durante la pioggerella che ci ha accompagnati per i due giorni passati a Trapani. Nonostante all’occhio sia tutto molto piacevole, alcuni dettagli (doccia, sanitari, finiture, materassi singoli che si dividevano, doghe cadute) sono un po’ “cheap”, ma niente di inadeguato rispetto al prezzo. La nota veramente, ma veramente positiva, è la colazione. Ricca, variegata, e soprattutto c’è molto fatto in casa, ed Angela la sa lunga sulle torte!

Reviewed By EnricoAnzioQuesto è uno dei casi (rari) dove forse sarebbe utile poter assegnare un sesto pallino!! Abbiamo soggiornato nella villetta più grande, della quale abbiamo utilizzato solo una delle tre stanze a disposizione. Bella vista sul mare con una terrazza che ci ha conquistato e che ci ha tenuto spesso lontano dai ristoranti. Massima cura nei particolari: presente nel piancito antistante un carretto siciliano ed una vecchia barca, lettini prendisole, all'interno lavatrice, cucina funzionale. frigo con freezer, televisore di buone dimensioni. Aria condizionata efficiente. E per ultimo, ma essenziale, la cortesia e gentilezza di Consuelo e del coniuge che ci hanno consentito di ritardare la partenza al pomeriggio avendo la nave a Palermo che salpava di sera. BRAVI!!!
