Reviewed By Giovanni CThis is a jewel! Two miles from the castle, the owners from the time you walk in make you feel like family. Absolutely quiet place in the middle of rolling hills. You look out the balcony and you just want to live here! Clean room with tv, WiFi and a fridge. The breakfast is indescribable. Every kind of dessert, salami, and prosciutto di Parma that is aged 30 months and melts in your mouth. I will come back...again and again. No place like this other than in the movies! You will love it!!

Very cute B&B by a castle!
Reviewed By knotheaduscMy husband and I recently spent three nights at La Locanda Del Borgo. I was sold on this property because of the dramatic photos of the castle, the restaurant next door, the bottle shop across the way, and the prospect of free parking. Overall, this lodging delivered on its promises, although parking was initially challenging. We arrived on a Sunday, and there were a lot of day trippers there. The room we rented was very small, but it was very clean and had most everything we needed. The only thing I didn't like was that the shutters to the window were closed and couldn't be opened. Breakfast was simple, but adequate, with delicious filled cornettos. I didn't need to be eating those, but it sure was a pleasure! We loved the wines offered at the wine and cheese shop, which appeared to be connected to the B&B. We ate there two of the three nights we stayed at the B&B, then had a fantastic pizza from the pizzeria at the little plaza near the hill to the castle. All in all, it was a unique place to stay with a friendly staff. I'm glad I booked it, if only because of the incredibly beautiful countryside nearby. You will need a car, though, and be prepared to deal with parking issues.

A few kilometers from Parma, in the City of LANGHIRANO near the TORRECHIARA sixteenth century castle, you will find our B & B.We have a large garden in a historic park with old trees but we are still close to population centers served by shops and restaurants.Our hotel has a fine family-style hospitality and is recommended for both tourists and business travelers.Prices range from 50 € single room 80 € double . € 140 the apartment with kitchen for 4 persons . On our site you can book and see even more ' photographs, to know rooms and common areas ; breakfast room , garden and living former stable , perfect for a glass of wine by candlelight .

Reviewed By cbadams60My sister and I stayed in the Elisabetta room at Casa di Aroila in June. The room was well appointed, clean, modern, comfortable and we felt safe. The breakfast was superb! Casa di Arola is a large farmhouse enclosed on a sprawling property that is well taken care of. There is outdoor seating, parking, and many types of farmyard animals and pets. When you stay here, you are definitely "part of the family". There is an adjoining room to the guests rooms with refrigerator, sink, table/chairs. I highly recommend this property and it's beautiful and kind hostess, Elisabetta!
