Clean and comfortable, but poor service
Reviewed By James GWe booked this hotel because it had a restaurant, thus saving the trouble of finding somewhere to eat after a long day travelling. Although we booked by phone, no mention was made of the fact that the restaurant would be closed that evening. Breakfast is supplied, but not in the hotel. It is in a cafe about 500m away, (not 300m as we were told). The free wifi did not work throughout our stay, even though we reported it the the person on duty, who said he would come to our room to sort it out, but went home instead. As we are in our 70's, it would have been courteous to be offered some help with our cases. After we had found somewhere to eat in a nearby town, it would have been pleasant to have had a had a drink in the bar before going to bed. No such luck!

If you like trekking, hiking, canyoning or climbing Parco del Levigliese is just at 10 minuts from us. We'll wait for you!For breakfast the Bar Centro Storico is at 30 meters.For lunch/dinner at 150 meters there is Ristorante Eliseo one of the best restaurant in the area.Piazzeria Da Ale and Il Baretto have a really nice pizza.

Welcoming, peaceful village
Reviewed By Rita CWe stayed at this B&B for 3 nights during our trip to Italy. It is set in the middle of the quaintest village. The hosts were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We felt like family. We will definately be going back and hopefully for a longer period. It is located in the centre of the village with cute little shops, churches and pjazzas surrounding it. Parking was easy. There was even a street market outside the B&B which spread into the pjazzas and through most of the village. Our rooms were cleaned and replenished daily to an excellent standard.

I don't know how they arranged it, but the clouds broke and we were able to spend a lovely fall afternoon by the pool surrounded by glorious mountain views. The accommodations were very comfortable and meals just right, Our hosts were so engaging and wish we could have stayed longer,

We take care of our guests even in this particular moment, improving our environments every day and making them safer; for this reason we have provided extra cleaning and sanitizing measures at each change. We are in compliance with the new anti-Covid19 legislation both for the rooms and for the solarium and swimming pool area. Our property is large and is surrounded by a private park of 2500 square meters with fruit trees, plants and flowers. The areas dedicated to guests are independent, each with a garden and private veranda so you can enjoy your holiday in complete privacy and relaxation. Each building has its own private access. The shared spaces are minimal: the swimming pool, 12 X6 meters and in compliance with current legislation, is cleaned and cared for every day; the solarium terrace is sanitized every morning (ditto for the deck chairs), it is spacious and furnished with umbrellas and sun loungers distant from each other (about 2.5 meters). Access to the pool area includes a shower and a foot bath with disinfected water. Services: air conditioning / heating, free WIFI throughout the property, parking information service. Nearby: bakery, patisserie / bar, supermarket, pizzerias, restaurants and rotisseries with takeaway menus and home delivery.

Reviewed By jft20172017Il Melograno was very beautiful, nice and clean place. Paola and Fam were very friendly. They advised us for the best sightseeings and restaurants in the neighborhood. One week was too short. We will come back.

Reviewed By claudiovuckQuesta struttura è molto comoda per visitare le attrazioni della Garfagnana e i dintorni! A noi è stato assegnato il primo appartamento della struttura venendo dal vialetto! Eravamo in tre e lo spazio è stato sufficiente, in 4 forse sarebbe stato troppo stretto! Il bagno carino, la cucina abbastanza attrezzata! Il parcheggio al di fuori della struttura sulla sinistra, di fronte alla falegnameria comodo e abbastanza ampio per varie macchine! Nelle vicinanze sulla strada principale, un benzinaio anche con gas se aveste bisogno di tale carburante! Poi per la spesa un grande supermercato Conad sempre nelle vicinanze. Ho notato una piscina carina che visto la stagione non abbiamo usato! La proprietaria molto simpatica e disponibile! Se vogliamo parlare del difetto direi che i materassi dovrebbero essere migliorati. Quello del letto singolo direi è una sottiletta abbastanza scomodo. Quello del letto matrimoniale, sembra che si sentano le molle, cosa che rende il sonno poco ristoratore. Insomma se non fosse per i materassi sarebbe tutto perfetto. Insomma buona permanenza a voi popolo di TripAdvisor! Nella speranza che i materassi migliorino.

Reviewed By PieroRoma62A cavallo di ferragosto l’hotel è stato una base comoda per le belle gite alle Grotte del vento, a Barga, al lago di Vagli e al parco dell’orecchiella. La stanza semplice e pulita, con letto comodo e ben condizionata. Il bagno è funzionale, anche con la curiosa doccia col box completamente snodabile. Lo consiglio a chi sa badare al sodo
