My girlfriend and I went for her birthday and we had a great time. The staff was super friendly and accommodating for the first time riding horses. The trail was super cool as we went in the woods. The horses were very calm and easy to ride on. Overall a great time and I would totally recommend this place for anyone looking for something fun to do in the Catskills.

We just got back to the hotel this evening...but I wanted to write my review immediately. I have twin girls that are 7. They both agree this was “the best day ever). We have no experience riding. This was a first for their mom as well ????. The lesson was insightful. Elinor was super knowledgeable. She was a wonderful teacher, making my girls master their first time riding a horse by giving them the reins (literally). The girls stepped up and it was wonderful for their confidence. She took her time and really seemed to enjoy what she does. The horses were happy and gentle! We will be back. Thank you for giving us a forever memory. Till the next time!!!????????

While escaping Manhattan for a couple of days we enjoyed a great afternoon at Rough Riders Ranch. Joe greeted us and went over the basics with us first timers in the corral. We were soon off to enjoy the trails in the lovely Catskills. Joe was a great instructor and gave us the confidence to make our first ride a lot of fun, I even trotted a bit! Full of stories and the history of the area, Joe was a great companion. Would recommend Rough Riders Ranch for anyone wanting to experience the area regardless of equestrian experience.

My 5 year old grandaughter absolutely loved her 1st horseback lesson. Elene and Umberto were friendly, patient and went out of their way to make this experience fun and educational for her. Highly recommended!!

So fun going to Bethel, NY in the summer as there is so much to do out in the countryside. Whenever we go to Bethel we always go to Rolling Stone Ranch to go horseback riding. It's a super fun afternoon out in the country with breath taking views my husband and my kids just love it! We finish off the day at Benji & Jakes for the best brick oven pizza, but I always get their brick oven chicken and salads. We also love Bethel because all summer long they have concerts with amazing bands and it truly is one of the most beautiful outdoor arenas for concerts. We are planning our next vacation to Bethel already for next summer.
