Museu de Cantereria / Museo de Alfareria

The Pottery Museum is based in an old ceramics factory of the early 20th century, recently rehabilitated. The building preserves the original factory facilities, such as the Arab kilns, the clay decanting basins and the workshop area, giving visitors a unique experience. We suggest a tour through everyday items, when plastic was unheard of and pottery was essential for day to day living. You'll discover the endless shapes that a pitcher can have and you'll learn the pottery manufacturing process, from preparing the clay through to modelling on the wheel and firing. I f you want a unique experience, you can go inside one of the Arab kilns.
