Fairy Lake Park

Reviewed By dorothyz466 - Newmarket, Canada

This is a large park that has developed over the years. It has a children's playground, many different trails, a river running through it with Canada geese, (not always good as they can attack you). Everybody uses this park: children, Moms or Dads pushing baby carriages ; people riding bikes or roller skating as some of the trails are paved; benches along the way so that you can rest and enjoy the scenery - interesting flowers and people! Many people walking their dogs but remember to stoop and scoop! Have been there MANY times.

Main Street Newmarket

Reviewed By bach716 - Aurora, Canada

Lovely old town on Main Street. Love going here!! Lots of stores and the library is right on Main Street. Several restaurants and a lovely restaurant at the end of the street that overlooks the river here. Pretty town. This is the 'old' Newmarket with stores that have been here for many years. The 'new' town is on Yonge Street and Davis Drive with Upper Canada being the centre of it all.

Riverwalk Commons hosts the Farmers Market every Saturday morning May through October. There is always something happening at Riverwalk including the Town of Newmarket Summer Music concerts, festivals and in the winter you can enjoy the rink and the Ice Lounge. Riverwalk Commons is only steps east of Main Street.

We ride our bikes along this trail all the time and it is wonderful. Lots of wildlife, trees, and wild flowers. There are places to stop and just take in the scenery as you walk/bike the trails.

Upper Canada Mall

Upper Canada Mall is a premier shopping destination in the Greater Toronto Area. Located in Newmarket, Ontario, the mall offers simply the best shopping experience North of Toronto, with its best-in-class collection of retailers.

I went to the upper canada mall with my mom and step-dad. I went shopping for toys and Back to school clothes. My favourite stores at this mall are EB games, Hot topic, Mind Games, Toys r us, and Sunrise records. I got lots of cool things. I was specifically looking for Funko Pops and found lots. I got a few of my favourite charactes from Harry Potter. The food court was amazing too. There's lots of selection and I got my favourite, Taco Bell. I also thought the bathrooms were very nice and clean. they looked very fancy. The sink had the automatic soap dispenser dryer all in within the sink area. It was so cool. The mall is almost too big in my opinion. I feel like I couldn't see it all in one trip and I might have missed out on some stuff. Overall I would give the mall a 10/10. I think it is the best mall in the area and I would go back any day. Thank you for checking out gradin' with Brayden. Au Revoir
