We popped in here for a couple of drinks before a meal at The Post Room which is situated over the road. It was a nice evening so we sat outside overlooking Jubilee Square for the first drink. There are a number of seats outside at the front of The Tavern in an area that is sheltered from the elements. The service was really friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our drinks which were made up of a couple of Budvar beers ???? and two Gin Paloma cocktails ???? As it got a little chilly we decided to have our second drinks inside and found it to be cosy with a number of sports TVs on the walls. The Tavern is clearly managing Covid-19 measures well with a clean environment, masks, social distancing and a friendly table service. Lovely little place, well worth a visit ????

A family group visited today one of the party in a wheelchair. The staff especially Stuart were very helpful and courteous, the food as usual was excellent. It made for a very enjoyable afternoon.
